Wow from reading comments, it seems like I really need to watch game 2. Movie or Skyhigh need to start winning again because if just one wins, normally Effort can pull off the ace match.

I just can't figure out (T)sKyHigh. (P)Movie is still inconsistent, he's reminding me a little of Calm- doing great in individual leagues but less than a sure thing in proleague.

(Z)EffOrt is a baller, of course.

Hoooly fuck, I'm watching effort vs Flying right now, and effort's mutalisk splits against the corsairs in Flying's base around the 10-11 minute mark are fucking INSANE.

that first recall should have had a reaver and a probe to build a pylon in the choke. would've been insanely effective

Wow, the second game was simply astounding. Put simply, if Effort keeps playing like he did during the first half of the game... there can be no doubt he is the best ZvPer the world has ever seen. On the other hand, if Flying keeps playing the way he did during this game... we might well have another Protoss Revolutionist on our hands.

Either way - between this and the other recent changes to the ZvP metagame - these are exiting times. Exiting times, indeed!

Skyhigh is just sucking right now and movie just can't pvt unless he dt rushes or cannon rushes or does something of the sort. And effort is also losing his invincibility losing to jangbi and free in his best match up.

I think it's more that people are realizing that playing PvZ straight up against EffOrt is near impossible, and so strong protoss like JangBi and (to a lesser extent) free are preparing very very carefully for him.

And Flying is just going all out to confuse him.

both jangbi and free played standardly. Their excellent preperation is simply because effort is good [and in jangbis case, it was an ace match]. Thats standard preperation for any good zerg, its not exceptional based off a fear that effort is unbeatable or something. Don't inflate effort with this crap, plz.

This. Effort was showing great promise a few months ago, but it's shown that he's definitely mortal. He's not anywhere near invincible, on any matchup.
A sound mind in a sound body, is a short, but full description of a happy state in this World: he that has these two, has little more to wish for; and he that wants either of them, will be little the better for anything else.

I wouldn't short change Estro. People should realize that with the exception of Airforce ACE, any team can beat any other team. and quite honestly, Estro is a pretty solid team.

True. Effort's shown some flashes of greatness along with some horrible play. One day he can play near perfect, while the next day, he can lose badly and let Free get a 59 kill archon. If he ever develops some sort of consistency, I can see him going far.
God Bless

Exactly! Every team except Ace is competetive as hell atm.
