Once Flash destroyed Calm's 12 o'clock expansion, I'm pretty sure Flash was going to attack the 10 o'clock expansion as well. Calm GG'ed knowing the inevitable.

wow, i can't believe the ppl saying 3rd set was the best game

all flash did was turtle with 40 tanks and sniped everything the zerg had with 2 groups of marines and 10 vessels

Like someone pointed, Flash was probably trying to wear out and demoralize Calm, not just win. Make Calm think that Flash can win "without doing a single thing" perhaps? :D

I thought Calm had something going there with the drop harass if he kept at it and eventually found a hole in flash's defense somewhere to drop lings and ultras onto tanks he would have stood a better chance in that game.

First of all - he did radiate defilers all the time, that's why Calm was retreating so many times - b/c he was losing defilers before he even got to fortifications of Flash.

Second - he read Calm's gameplan like a book. Calm was thinking "i will go with fast 4 gas and smash Flash's mobile SK army". So Flash responded with highly un-mobile, defensive tank oriented army which is the opposite of what Calm was hoping for.

It's a shame that you people can't get the depth of STRATEGIC choice just because it didn't make game dynamic. Dynamic game = loss in such situation, blame Calm for going for strategy that could be only countered with turtling. And still Flash did awesome job with killing his expos/radiating defilers&ultras while he was FORCED to stay in base!

What was calm thinking ?? What was his game plan? Did he really think he cfould out power mass tanks ?? Why didn't he make guardians and or queens when he was ahead? At the very least, why didn't he drop flash's main when he had multiple chances? Calm's swarms and control were just AMAZING that game, but his overall strategy was disappointing. He's supposed to be the daring, brain zerg.
