Actually I don't think it's a part of the contract or anything. It's just Oz wanting to build a stronger lineup. Let's not forget this is R1 people.

R1 is pretty important, khan beasted r1 and r2, which is why they made it to playoffs even though they failed later on.

And T1 "failed" during r1 and still managed to win PL finals.

I mean Oz knew they could always abuse JD's strength to win their games. But when it comes to playoffs with Bo7, they are gonna lose badly due to lacking of depth. So throwing away R1, R2 or even this season to boost up their young players' confidence and experience is, in my opinion, a decent move. Having said that, I don't really have faith in Killer. I know he's still young and stuff but I don't see any spark of talent in him, at all. Maybe he needs more time, I don't know, but I really think that Oz should place their bet on another player.

ill say it again, you cant compare t1's lineup then and oz's lineup now. t1 had best(was still good), bisu, fantasy. oz now has jaedong and maybe hiya but he's a big IF. They are looking exactly like KTF last season.

Also, I dont see anyone stepping up, ala violet, for OZ anytime soon. Perfectman and killer are both all hype.

Recommending a game 4 is also a spoiler. And even if it wasn't labeled ace match, the fact that it wasn't on the initial lineup is a giveaway that it's an ace match.

Spoiler-free in the context of recommended games means that it doesn't give away the exact winners of the game in question. Obviously looking in recommended games at all has a chance of telling how far the match got.

It gives away the exact winners of earlier games (in this case, games 3 and 4). And yes, recommending game 4 is also a spoiler.

It's simple not to spoil them--just use an extra spoiler, like this: + Show Spoiler [game 4/5 if necessary] +
.

err wow, if you're going straight to recommended games then you don't want to see the entire series thus you shouldn't care about the overall result

You never know when someone might step up. Remember that Violet used to have the lowest ELO of any active player.

Not true. Case in point: interested in game 4, wanted to see if others were recommended, didn't want to spoil the results of a game I watched.

Actually no it doesn't. You don't know which combination of players won which games, so it in essence doesn't spoil anything.

Well, sometimes it does spoil the results, but seriously, are the results so important that you complain over a minor issue like this?
I guess you could partition recs into 1-3, and 4-5. That's not too big of a hassle.

Well, I didn't think my post would be such a big deal. I don't mind if the recommended games spoil some of the results, but if it says they don't include spoilers, I would expect them not to include spoilers for any of the games. I thought it was worth pointing out the oversight to the OP, that's all.

Roffles, suppose you are watching game 4, and you know the match goes to ace. Then you know who wins the 4th game.

Every team plays their rookie players against ACE. They figure ACE is a crappy team so it's a relatively safe way to give their players experience. Oz isn't the first team to lose a game to ACE. IIRC ACE won 3 or 4 games one round, and I think they were against all different teams.

KHAN almost lost. But KHAN was smart in sending a good ACE.

Send anyone else. Send Lomo, whatever.

Same here. Jaedong may not play that's fine (that's even good for Oz, to be less dependent of him). But why KILLER, why?
