The group was already decided, since only one player advanced, there was no reason to play out the rest of the group

Except that some players came from the other side of the world to player. And the fact that the fans really wanted to see the players in action.
I am not sure what to say

if it had been for a pl or osl final, do u really think that effort, bisu or boxer would have lost to pj, jaystar or white-ra? i dont think so.

This was a very easy event to make a lot of money. Even Idra won $3000! Whether or not it's a starleague final is irrelevant, winning easy matches for lots of money should be a no brainer.

This is just pure fail
-Are you confident for the IEF?
▲Last time, I just went in without any previous thought, but it was still okay (laughs). Rather than arrogance, it's just that I have faith in my fundamentals, so even without any preparation, I'm sure that I can deal with it. This is because there is a gap in the skill level between me and the chinese players. If I lose like this, I guess it will be due to chance but my confidence level is about the same as the level of skill difference (laughs).

He's just being truthfull, and based on the past it wasnt a bad prediction, just the fact that these losses are such big upsets kinda shows that. It's good to see that the gap is somewhat closing tho, it always felt weird seeing people that were considered the shit here being absolutely chancelessly raped by any semi-pro Korean in the past.
I'm a man of my word, and that word is "unreliable".

Who knows, but, Korean pros must learn about this, taking it more seriously when it comes to play foreigners

Well getting beatings from Chinese isn't really getting beatings from 'foreigners'. Pj, Lx and F91 were actually in a teams that go through StarCraft training. I would put them to Semi-Pro or something. I mean Pj defeated Savior when he was on the top of his game, that's something. BUT White-Ra beating Boxer is actually an upset.

White-ra won a game against Boxer. No one beats the Emperor. No one.
