True. That's why I'm asking if anyone even knows how to set up the routing for something like that, and if so, do they have the equipment? I'm merely volunteering my house. I haven't a clue about how to set up a network able to support 20+ peoples.

And yes people can probably crash at my place regardless of where we stay. You'll be sleeping in the tent room, which has millions of pillows, but no blankets. Bring a sleeping bag or whatnot.

The hard part is getting like 4 or 5 switches and having places for everything and room for pc's. You have some good floorspace for pc setups but we'd have to be able to make sure we have proper length cables so everyone can reach a switch depending on where pc's are set up at, as well as making sure there are enough power strips for stuff to plug in (everyone would have to bring at least a laptop plus some people might bring their own monitors and whatever else) We would also have to make sure that everything is working beforehand network wise (definitely have somebody over to get the setup squared away on a day before the actual LAN)

I can set a network up ezpz beforehand but there are so many unknowns I highly recommending sticking to a lan center...

I still vote Seoul PC over possible Haemonculus house but this isn't my LAN so we let Duran make the decision.

we need a lan center, to many unknowns to host it at someones house for something as official as this.

Switches and router bugs
macs beings stupid
people showing up late taking a lot of time to set up

possibly being short on cables power strips ect ect

i mean shit, i've hosted tons of lans at my house, and i know just getting 12+ people same network no problems can be a hassle at times, trying to get 20+ on the same network with 10x the variables. TT
