I think they had to know who could come well in advance, and since July/Shuttle/Tempest probably had games planned for the STX Masters if they advanced, they didn't want to / weren't allowed to go. The Beckham thing still puzzles me, though. I guess it might be Visa issues like so often with the Chinese? | ||

Multiple people have said that it was Kespa, not blizzard, who deteremined which korean players went. The chinese wcg qualifier is going on during the same time, hence their good toss' don't come to blizzcon. About the non-asian foreigners... I suppose they felt that Ret and Idra were the top 2, so race wasn't a factor. Yes, the lack of protoss does suck, but it seems this is the best we could get based upon what was available. | ||
