EPTEffort's nickname has been hawk for a while now, but during the super ace match against stork last night, the camera caught a fan who wrote "오늘도 매시아 강림하셨네" which roughly translates to "The Messiah descends upon us once again." In Korean, Hawk is 매, which is pronounced 'meh,' and the fan used the fact that Messiah's first syllable is 'meh' to come up with the nickname. It's pretty clever as Messiah is also 3 syllables in Korean, which is the same length as people's names, so following the naming rubric, Me(매) would be his last name and Ssiah(시아) would be his first name. The commentators had a good laugh over it, and it turned out to be a fitting nickname as Effort almost single-handedly saved CJ from being eliminated by Khan. Im suspecting it to catch on soon and start being used widely
