Didn't think the other 3 will be that interesting, so I just decided to translate this. As much as I hate ZerO... -___-
ZerO: "I am the 'Young Prince' so I love the 'Queen'." "I didn't want to play a boring macro game, so I went for queens."
- You advanced into the Round of 8 by going 3-0. ▲ I am happy that I advanced 3-0, as what I said in the group selection stage, and I am even happier than I used a new strategy to win.
- You won by using the Queen's Spawn Broodling ability. ▲ The map is made such that it's difficult to break through when your opponent's units are on the ridge. That is why I didn't want to play a boring macro game. To avoid that, I was thinking of different methods before thinking about the Queen's 'Spawn Broodling' ability.
- You have been using the Queen a lot. ▲ I am nicknamed 'Young Prince', and I think that is why I love the 'Queen' more.
- The Queen is a tough unit to micro, so it is not easy to use. ▲ During practice I had to target the high templars, but they are so small that sometimes I miss clicking them. I was slightly nervous too today, so I didn't utilize the ability fully. I was supposed to completely destroy his main army after killing his high templars but I wasn't able to do that.
- Bisu's resistance was strong. ▲ In practice, after I used the 'spawn broodling' ability, the games ended there. But as expected of Bisu, he was different. Luckily, I was able to push all the way with my second attack so I was rather fortunate.
- You hid your queens all the way until the end. ▲ If the opponent knows and attacks before my queen's mana is full, there'll be a period where I'm in danger. It is best to hide your queens' existence until the end.
- Weren't the practice matches tough? ▲ Both Proleague and OSL use the same map so I was wondering when I should use this build. After thinking hard, I felt that I had to use this against the strongest Protoss, Bisu.
- You have been performing stylishly in the OSL. ▲ I can't deny that I'm unaware of it. In the previous OSL, I used the queen twice, so I felt that I had to use the queen again.
- You are being picked as the strongest Royal Roader candidate. ▲ I think it's still too early to talk about that. I have to at least get into the semifinals to talk about being a Royal Roader.
- You did not play in Proleague today. ▲ It was a great help. I wasn't in the entry today so I was able to focus more in my individual league. I am thankful towards my coaching staff.
- Any final words? ▲ Crazy-Hydra made his debut today but he lost, so I hope he quickly wins the next time. Also, Free hyung lost twice today so he's been feeling very down. I hope, as our team's ace player, he cheers up soon.

I always had a feeling Zero hated standard games. In his game against Hwasin, it was kind of as if he couldn't wait for his advantage to pile on enough to infest the command center. Nice to see a progamer who actually wants to play in an enjoyable way rather than just as a robot.

Will be rooting for Stork. But if he's eliminated, I'll definitely be rooting for Zero as the royal roader.
Thanks for the interview Konadora. Haha, he cant even hide the smirk on his face " I humiliated the best Toss in the world using Queens." I love Zero, he has become the most entertaining Zerg this season, he will win OSL if he doesnt run into JD or Leta in a bo5.

you saying he will beat fantasy or Bisu in a Bo5? o.O

I dunno about Bisu in a Bo5, but he can certainly beat fantasy in a Bo5. One of my favorite Zero games was when he took apart fantasy on Colo2.

As for Bisu, the map pool is fairly zerg favored in ZvP. And if you think that doesn't matter, just look at how Fantasy defeated Bisu in the last OSL, and how Luxury dismantled Jangbi in the MSL.
I think a Zero vs Fantasy would be awesome, as both are known to be very good at strategies. But ZvT is Zero's best matchup.
I really like ZerO and I hope he continues to improve. His style is very fresh in a bw scene that has been stagnating a little, at least strategically, ever since focus shifted onto strong mechanics and macro. Also I just like zerg players for some reason Q(^_^Q)
It might sounds weird coming from a Bisu fanatic, but I'm glad KTY lost, he should drop OSL, focus completely on MSL, win the thing and cement his immortality in the history of SC as the only player ever to win 4 MSLs
Hmmm so I wonder if he is going to continue to try and use this strategy or if it was just one of those new strategies used only a few times then forgotten. Was a fun game to watch I'm surprised how effective it was.

not only was that tvp, maps were tough but still doable. the main reason bisu got 3-0ed instead of something like 3-2 was cus fantasy deviated from the usual t1 terran style. He got turrets set up extremely early.

eh, zeros worst matchup is zvt. He could definitely take Bisu and Fantasy in a bo5 depending how he is playing.

Depends which ZerO shows up that day.
The "hulk smash" ZerO has the skill to easily 3-2 or 3-1 both Fantasy and Bisu. Even a 3-0 isn't out of reach when ZerO is playing to his actual potential
"Shit" ZerO will just lose, and he will lose badly.
Lately the former has been showing up. No idea if he's here to stay or if he will disappear again.
Ok, someone in Korea who can talk to Zero (Nevergg, lilsusie, anyone???) needs to ask him where he got this strategy! I'm pretty sure he thought it up independently from village_idiot's guide but the coincidence is just too much for me. It would be LOLZ if he borrowed the guide
There's nothing I like seeing more than Bisu getting schooled... except when it happens to Jaedong. This interview got me really pumped up to see the games, way to go ZerO.
Yeah I was freaking out as i commented this game. I posted it in another thread so I wont post it here, but know thats its definitely worth watching if you havent seen it yet.
Queens vs Bisu + it actually working = most epic game of 2009
If ZerO can manage to avoid running into Jaedong/EffOrt he looks to have a great chance at making it as a royal roader. I've got a feeling he'll have to go through Jaedong at some point though, and we all know how that would probably end.

KING OF QUEENS.
You can't just look at TLPD percentages for this stuff. Zero has improved his ZvT dramatically since he first came to the scene. His ZvZ decision-making is quite lacking, even if his micro is amazing. Between his ZvT and ZvP, when I watch his games I find his ZvT much more smooth than his ZvP. Although he's had some clunkers in ZvTs recently.

Only to show map balance could lead to a lesser player beating a superior player. It was the series that came to my mind, as I don't want to keep thinking back to historical ZvPs.

I didnt just look at TLPD, I just think his ZvT is most fragile, then again it is ZvT, but all of his matchups are relatively close.
Just watched, very nice Queen usage... IMO it seems like Zerg is the last race to hit their full potential, lots of good Zergs nowadays rather than just 1 hero at a time.
I wonder if this is just a one time strategy, or it could work well as a build order in games. He said the zerg is weak before queens get the energy, but it seems like they worked so well in that game.
Best candidate for a royal road for sure . Yeah like others have said if he avoids the other ZvZ experts he has a good chance at royal roading this OSL .
Edit: uh forgot Effort so yeah , Zero is the second best royal road candidate if effort manages to get out of his group .
