Even though we had Day do an awesome commentating, we seem to be forgetting the main point. A real mature website don't do shit like this Really guys. Really. Personally I don't think this was a great TL showcase Every once in a while we do these show matches and most of the time it doesn't end too well. Not saying we shouldn't do these stuff, but it should be more proffessional. I think we should learn from the Chill and Combat showmatch and strive to do better Seriously guys. Seriously.

A real mature website? The only thing funnier than people taking E-SPORTS! too seriously, is people that think teamliquid has to be some kind of moral fucking beacon. What manifesto said was true, because being a dick to Combat has really gotten old, but there is nothing wrong with having a little fun. Seriously guys. Seriously.

O_o) is a pretty cool thing to do, if he actualy managed to get to B/high B- without dodging hardcore that should kind of end the discussion of what his true skill lvl is. On July 03 2009 16:50 Hot_Bid wrote: guys, the commentary was really hilarious, lets look at the positives in this whole thing instead of bashing on combat over and over. yes, he abused. yes, he's bad at insults and makes excuses. but if he didn't agree to this and dodged like he usually does, we wouldn't have this awesome showmatch. so like i said before, props to combat for playing, he did better than i thought he would, even if he cheesed a lot of games. Very true, my life would have truely missed a lot without great quotes like " DECOLORZAREFIIIIIINE" and "are you for rela?"

Teamliquid is a site founded on taking e-sport (Starcraft) seriously. What exactly is wrong with morals btw?

Why bash someone who's provided alot of video guides for the community? Do something yourselves before you start talking shit about someone else you don't even know. God forbid we see them as dozens of individuals posting their own opinions of someone's deplorable actions. Why defend someone who cheats on the only platform for competitive Starcraft in the foreign community, and makes videos that amount to nothing more than self-promotion? Do something yourself before you bash the entire community. The self-righteousness needs to stop, it's pretty fucking lame and childish. Also Day9 was totally awesome all of the time.

I don't think we have to argue the fact that people are easily led and influenced by whatever they feel they are part of. Anyways, I think there's more to his videos than self-promotion, and he doesn't deserve the amount of shit that has been thrown his way.
