Apparently they're starting to get bored.

I'm a programmer and whenever I'm bored I just bulldoze the crap out of any program I've made before and start it all over again.

That is a really bad thing to do because you're literally dumping all of those hours of work and bugfixing. But still we do it because we think of the old code as rusty, sloppy, and all crammed up. Which is not true, it's not like code expires or something.

I can see them changing their name from KTF to KT because of the need of trying something different that will give them a "clean" start, but they forget they're dumping all the things they've accomplished under that old name, and in the end, it loses its beauty.

I am on KT on my phone (like SK Telecom etc..). When KT appears on my phone, I wondered why, because KT is the internet in korea, the fastest internet (fiber). And yeah, KTF became KT for everything (phone + internet). So, given that proteam is under KT factory, the teams needed to change the name too. It's pretty normal.
