Confusing title huh?

I met up with the manager of eSTRO today and he told me that some of their StarCraft gamers (including Puma, Tester, Upmagic and Sangho.) would be playing the first set of the Special Force games in place of their Special Force Proleague counterparts.

The team sponsored by Hite Sparkyz also gave up their first set spots to Type-B, Leta, Haksoo, Clay and *Zeus!* Yes, he was back in action for some FPS today.

The lighting was dire for the event, but here are some photos;

The Result:

eSTRO eventually emerged victorious and won themselves $1000 in the process.

special forces is an fps in korea, made in korea, older than cs

there are multiple versions of SF, but in other places, like for example here in the U.S., it's simply called Soldier Front. ijji.com hosts the NA version, so go check it out.

beware though, there's tons of glitchers/abusers/hackers/laggers (250+ ping) in NASF. in korea their pings are on average 2 to 5.

Haha I always think it's cute to see gamers outside the context of sc. Leta's a cutie
I keep seeing commercials with those girls in them... hope they can do well enough to get to finals!

it's way more popular (along with other obscure fps games) in korea though than cs because it has a more friendly pc bang interface or something worded like that.

I'm Asian, but I thought all those pics of the girls in green were the same person at first. Was like, "Why the hell are there 10 pics of this person..." LOL

GTR is right - Special Force is the biggest televised league in Korea right now as well. CS seems to focus more upon foreign tournaments and going overseas for the Korean teams than domestic events recently and doesn't draw as big a crowd usually (although the finals was an exception.)
