Wait, does that mean TT/Tester/Chalrenge are screwed and won't be able to join ACE, or will future selection tests be possible? If not, are they going to end up doing their military service the normal way?

Since  fOru, Rage and  Sunny left ACE they added 2 terrans nice. There gonna need a good zerg and a Protoss player this coming august, since  OversKy and DaezanG are next on the list to leave ACE

Tester is way better than Darkelf, but a guess with Reach and Anytime on the team they went for 2 terrans.

They have the time, they don't have anyone to practice against, at least according to Boxer in some interview.

They aren't going to get any playtime. Both of these players used to be pretty damn good, Ruby was a pretty scary TvZ like a year or so ago and decent against p and darkelf was good before that but they are both pretty bad now.

They may not be stars anymore but they're definitely going to more dangerous than they have been in the past :O

I have no problem with Xellos, OverSky and Reach ofc. But Anytime clearly rushed into the military because of the opportunity to play SC before the scene is gone. Casy is the same thing but for players like him ACE is also a place where fans can enjoy his unique style one more time, because seriously I douby he would've make it to OGN's first team again. But Anytime was actually really good. Just like NaDa he could kept playing... Now if you ask me if I would watch "younger" B teamers like DarkElf and Ruby or living legends like ChRh I would gladly take the "old and shitty players", because playing in ACE is really not about the performance, clearly no one expects them to tear the ProLeague apart or even to make it in another SL.

Players like ChRh were never in question, Rage/Sunny were. They were never "living legends" but rather the B teamers of their time. What's the problem with having modern day B teamers on the modern incarnation of ACE? Oldschool novelty only lasts so long, now it seems as if ACE is trying to build a more competitive team, and Ruby/Darkelf will help them do that.
With that being said I prefer TT, because after the 2v2 was removed from PL he basically lost the spotlight. DarkElf and Ruby are just....bad
TT lost the spotlight because he's bad. If he wasn't bad, he would have won the spot instead of Ruby/Darkelf (who are still pretty solid Terrans despite recent slumps).

I'm pretty sure many teams would be happy with firebathero on their team. he's one of the best tvz players right now and pretty good tvt. and now that savior broke the curse, there shouldn't be any more problems ^^

Yeah ok the novelty of ACE might be gone because RuBy and DarkElf are in but I mean come on, if you had the opportunity to do SC as one of your duties for your required military service, wouldn't you take it? You guys either minimalize or not even consider that they're not just doing Starcraft, they're also doing something that is required in their life as a citizen in Korea. They received the privelage to play on the ACE team fair and square, just like all the other members.

FBH is slumping so damn hard atm that hes not even worthy of ACE. Have anyone of you guys even seen his recent games the last months??? He went from being on fire to playing some of the most pathetic starcraft ive ever seen.
Dont get me wrong i like FBH but atm i seriously doubt he can pull himself out of a slump like this and even if he do he might as well emerge as another medicore terran instead of the 'hero' he once was.
