I knew about this, but I'm so glad he got accepted. I'll miss seeing (his cute hairstyles!) but at least he'll still be involved in the proscene. I hope we get to find out who else got accepted to ACE asap I've known him in passing since last year and he's a lovely guy - very fun to photograph. I'll never forget that silly shoot where I taught him the word 'window' (which is where that photo in the OP is from!)

Ruby flirts with Seung Yeon (Kara)

he seems to have a pretty cool personality and isn't so stiff like most progamers.

Yes a powerhouse of mediocrity.

They're such a powerhouse that they lose almost every match.

loooool. That was funny.

When she asked him back about having a girlfriend...I didn't catch all of it, but somehow it got to how hearing the medics' voices gets him by without having a girlfriend...LOL.

Uhh..apparently the players on Ace are playing better than they've played in years. Reach is finally playing and winning again. YellOw, according to Anytime, is working hard and he had a good showing in MSL Offlines (he only lost to Skyhigh in the finals of his group). Anytime is playing again and even with limited play time he's winning some and Anytime has always been a beast. Sure it's Lecaf, Khan, SKT1, or KTF but they still bring their matches to the Ace game a lot of times which is a lot more than people expect and what other teams do.

MBC Game’s Min Chan Ki, accepted into the eSports Airforce team for March

[Fomos = Reporter Shim Hyun]Air force, April 24th presenting the final candidate
It has been confirmed that MBC Game’s Min Chan Ki will be given an invitation to the Air force eSports team for March.

Starting from March 2nd to March 13th, the Air Force eSports team sent out March invitations in which Min Chan Ki received an invitation in addition to an interview, and now we are waiting for public confirmation of his eligibility.

At first, Min Chan Ki seemed to have cancelled his eSports invitation, but after the first announcement, it seems that he must undergo physical examination and physical training, so we’re waiting for the final announcement.

Following this, besides Min Chan Ki, the March invitation consists of eStro’s Seo Ki Soo, Ongamenet’s Lee Seung Hoon, Samsung’s Park Sung Hoon, CJ’s Kim Sung Ki, in addition to these 5, player C from team B will transition into a trainer, making 6 total.

Meanwhile, the March eSports selected personnel will consist of about three who, referring to the April 24th announcement, will be stationed at the Air Force’s training headquarters if the official announcement is confirmed.

EDIT 1 already: was trying to figure out what 심현 meant, but it was apparently the name of the reporter...

EDIT 2: Thanks HonestTea!

I haven't done translations in a while, so a chunk of the translations are awkward and may be off, but if someone can confirm the accuracy and quickly help me edit any mistakes, it'd be great.

Good for RuBy, he's been stuck behind MBC's terran line of Sea and Light for so long, and it always seemed like he had potential, he just never got the opportunity. Definitely a solid pickup for ACE.

And hopefully Chalrenge doesn't go to ACE. It would be nice to see him play, but knowing it would come at the cost of his boisterous personality just isn't worth it. Seeing him sit there like a statue during a PL match would just be strange.

What does this part mean exactly? Are they trying to recruit B-team players for practice partners or coaches or something?

ACE can be really good for some players whose careers are stuck. They get away from SC completely for a while. And then they can play more matches than ever with basically no pressure.

That part actually confused me quite a bit. From what I racked up, it's something like a B team's "C" member becoming a trainer, a C team member becoming B team through a trainer, or a trainer becoming a B team's "C" member.

I was hoping a more knowledge korean user would help me out there

no no no

There's just using "B" and "C" as place holders to avoid revealing the actual name.

So you should read it as:

Player C, from Team B who is trying to transition into a trainer.

or...

Player John Doe, from Team Unnamed, who is trying to transition...

So now ACE is accepting progamers to be training partners? I guess that's a good thing. Shows they're committed to getting the players the necessary means they need to get better results in ProLeague.

No, I didn't make myself clear.

"Player C" from "Team B" is a PLAYER who is trying to transition into a coach/trainer. But he applied for ACE like the rest of the players mentioned in the article.
