It's not extremely unusual to be confident in something just because it hasn't worked out yet, if you think the idea itself is sound. Probably felt like he was executing something improperly (maybe being too aggressive, as he was anything but aggressive this game) and thought he could tighten that up and win. And thanks again for all these translations, and for handling the LR in the Oz/Sparkyz thread while I jumped ship to watch Great v free!
