Hi TL.net. A friend of mine, after buying a new comp the other day, experienced this problem which frankly, i have no clue how to fix or what kind of advice to give him.
Here is a screenshot representing the problem :
http://rapidshare.com/files/205754857/11.pcx.html
It says something about UDP not processing packets through port 6112. Since i've never encountered this kind of problem before i decided to ask the community, because i've stumbled on topic about port forwarding or something like that on several occasions, but never really red them. I've search the database, but most of the port forwarding problems are related to rooters or wireless internet, which my friend isn't using. He is using a swicher(like me) and on his old comp there weren't any issues like this. I asked him if he installed protocols from windows like TCP/IP, IPX, etc and he said yes so i'm kinda lost.
So i'm asking, if anyone can shed some light on the subject, direct me to a link to a similar problem, or a solution, or anything that can help us solve the problem. This error occured when trying to enter ICCup with antihack and all necessary stuff.
Thank You.

If you have nothing to say don't say it. Tired of morons and trolls.

a SWITCH (not swicher ;D) has not much to do with your internet connection, its your local connection. if you have access to the internet with multiple PCs the chance is very high that your friend is using a router. the router translates your local network to the internet (and back).
you need to know you gateway and open the port 6112 UDP. to find out what gateway do this:
Start -> Run type "cmd" then type "ipconfig /all there you can see your standard gateway
mostly your gateway is something like this: 192.168.0.1 192.168.1.1 192.168.1.100 or 192.168.0.100
tho access the gateway open your browser and type this number into the address bar. there you can configure your NAT settings (aka open ports for apps/games)

have you tried to connect just one or very few times? sometimes this problem can be "solved" by just restarting the router which will get you an ip-refresh.

Good post mate, although when i type my gateway(78.90.47.1) into the browser address bar it doesn't open anything. It just takes me to www.megaclick.com
Am I doing something wrong, or i just misinterpreted something ?
Thanks for the help.

very strange if you get forwarded to megaclick. but this looks not like your standardgateway is in your local network, maybe your not using a router. can you connect more than 1 PC to the internet?

What kinda router you got? Google the instruction manual to find out how to access it. You access your router by typing in its basic ip address into your explorer bar. My linksys is 192.168.1.1, when I type that in it prompts me for username and password and thats where I go to forward my ports.
ipconfig is useful for making sure the ports you forward is to your actual computers ip address but thats next step.
