One solution to this is to somehow display a message to your opponent (and visible in the replay) that you are using it. I don't know if something like that has been implemented already well, I'm sure (not sure, becuase I haven't figured out how to write scripts for it yet), but it's possible that you could have it use the chat function to put allied chat only that it's on. That would store it in the replay. The fact that iccup admins can detect it though means that it's not *that* big of a deal- the competitive ladder will be just fine. Since Iccup can detect it, it's a training tool- nothing more, nothing less. They'll probably toss it into their antihack launcher, so that you can't play games with this on as well as ah on.

Also I don't see how anyone gets better if they don't learn to check psi-count or mineralcount by theirselves. I hope this hack tells your opponent that its on.. and in the very beginning of the game before the hacker switches "to all" off..

If you had an option set that would change what shift>tab sets colors to, so that I can manually choose what color I show up as and what color my opponent shows up as, that would help me so much. Of course this would only help if it is something that's possible to be used on iccup. You can modify the colors by changing the player colors with SCMDraft 2.0 and saving the map as .scx I made shift tabx2 for myself to be green instead of ugly ass teal.

This surely is helpful, but I think it could have an opposite effect. Once this tool is on you dont have to think about minerals/supply and without being forced to focus on it you won't create a habbit of doing so. Makes sense?

Cool, but this is only for that map, yes? So if I play on iccup on someone else's map (since i can't host I always have to) the colors will go back to normal?

Yes I know that it gives you a slight advantage, but it is only relevant on the lowest ranks. Icc has been told how to detect it, so I advise against using it there. http://winner.cspsx.de/Starcraft/Tool/Chaoscoach.zip DAMN

So how do you get out of the habit of using it then?

And (going along with your thought process here, not necessarily agreeing) so what if it is a hack? ICC has been notified of how to detect it, there is a disclaimer not to use on ICC (and implies any type of competitive match), and was created with the intention of not using it later on (I'm sure B level players don't actively use the live APM tool). Stop bashing MoC. He's the man. And he's staff.

It's like setting an alarm every day for a week to go off at 5am. If you turn it off on the 8th day you'll still probably wake up because your body is used to the timing. I think this has the potential to be a good macro training tool if people use it the right way.

Make sure you've extracted all the files in the zip file, because lualib5.dll is included (and therefore should be found by the plugin).
