3S is just 3rd strike, available on ps2/dc/arcade. Street Fighter's new game is sf4.

IIRC, there was a thread on how to get it to work on pc, and you can look into that if you're interested.

I've never played the pc version, although I play it regularly at home and arcade. Is there a different type of fun attached to the pc version?

No, it's just a portable emulator. If you are used to high level console / arcade play, then you will seriously struggle with the input delay on the PC.

^Oh right that's the word for it. I have a portable emulator for sf2 and I think I'm quite used to the input delays (though maybe not for parries). Besides input delay, is there anything else that hinders the game? (eg. one player's inputs that disrupts other player's input)

Otherwise, if it's just input lag I'm going to bring my laptop too. Although I need to install 3s

It's just input lag. Everything else is Japanese arcade style.

I can bring my logitech input pad then for anyone who wants to use it and playing sf3 is extremely hard on pc cause the pads for pc are not that good imo and the delay/lag that was already mentioned.

Hmmm looks like I'll be bringing my mouse, keyboard, AND joystick to this.

By the way Chill, Jesung kind of knows how to play 3s too, although he hates it.

One of my friends, Kenny, said he'd probably come, too. He plays other fighting games but dislikes 3s as well.

the Xerox tower above finch station has a lot of places to chill (food court, etc.), but there aren't many notable landmarks so it might be difficult to find people in there. but it's indoors~ (the actual name of the complex is the North American Centre)

or you could walk south a bit and go skating at mel lastman square while you wait

Because to get into Finch station you have to have a transfer and so basically only the people who took the bus/subway would be 'inside' finch station. However you maybe able to wait outside the gates that lead into Finch station and that is also underground near some stairs @ Finch and Yonge so we wouldn't be outside.

Precisely: we could wait inside the station but outside the gates. The problem now is figuring out how to set a meeting point inside the station that everyone can find easily.

Wow, have you guys seen the weather for Saturday, a high of -6 and low of -11 after a day of 15cm of snow. I swear we better have a good plan because I dont want to wait outside waiting for TLers to band together.
