Almost all the weather forecasts show the snow stopping @ 9pm - 11pm tonight and then no more snow at all till Sunday 3am. They are usually really fast with the snow plows and maintenance of the roads during winter. I really don't see that as a problem imo. Everything will be cleared up by early morning tomorrow. | ||

I guess we will just have to wait and see. Anyways, I am going for sure regardless of this storm. | ||

The worst of Friday's storm is coming to an end as the disturbance that dumped snow on the city pushes out of the region, clearing the way for high winds, low visibility and blowing snow. CP24 meteorologist Chris Potter says the heavy snow will taper off between 6 and 7 p.m., giving way to flurries. As of Friday afternoon, 14 centimetres of the white stuff had dropped on the city. The main issue - primarily affecting motorists - will be grainy snow that blows across roadways and drastically reduces visibility for drivers throughout the night. "That's going to be the biggest issue," says Potter. "(The snow) is so dry that when a wind gust comes up, the snow breezes back." Conditions will clear up Saturday, but we can expect between five and 10 centimetres on Sunday. so saturday is fine. Everything should be clear tomorow | ||
