wasnt there some conspiracy theory about this
Yes, there were quite a few people arguing adamantly that Lomo threw the game for Jaedong. Or at least, a loud minority.
Amazing game though, no doubt. Jaedong was literally everywhere.
Yeah, but it was proved convincingly that it wasn't thrown. I know people are going to say how Jaedong wasn't godlike in that game, but even IF he wasn't that game was the best TvZ I've seen and deserves to be in the Top Plays of 2008.
great great game. IMO, it's not deserving of a pp. Why? Pimpest plays usually refers to micro tricks or moments that lead to you having a decided advantage in the game. Jaedong was amazing in the second half of the game with his hive tech, but there wasn't a moment that was amazing.

A montage of sunken break+all the amazing scenes where there were like 3 fights going on @ the same time + nydus going up in time?
I have to say this is the pimpest play or hardest to execute of any.
I love bisu vs jaedong, in fact I think bisu vs jaedong on blue and andro are the highest level of that matchup ever being played. Bisu is just too good.
4.) Kal's Hero Scout Kal vs. fOrGG [19 June, 2008] 1set @ Arena MSL 2008 It's really an epic series all around but that Scout from nowhere saves the day for Kal.
Does that count as a stove? Dts into scouts into arbiters?
Xellos vs Tempest Game 3 from GomTV Intel-Averatec Classic Season 2 RO64
Tempest is harassing Xellos with dark templars in his base on Neo Requiem and tries to go in and snipe some scvs it dies but finds a couple mines that are close to the scvs. The next dark templar goes on a suicide mission to drag a mine into the scv line. Xellos then proceeds to snipe the mine so that it dies only a couple frames away from exploding. This is particularly impressive if you watch it closely as the vultures were moving away from the mine when it popped up so he had to react very quickly. It was Gom so I only have this video to post
Rage's Defense (This one is borderline at best, but whatever)
In a game somewhat reminiscent of the infamous game between firebathero and Savior on Python, GoRush destroys Rage's main with waves of ultraling drops, only for Rage to move to a brand-new base. Despite losing in the end, he holds off Gorush's attacking waves for an impressively long time. At one point, despite this being on Colosseum 1(meaning there are 16 total bases), Rage and his 3 bases appear to be on the verge on starving out gorush and the rest of the map. Rage ends up using every unit(except arbiters, carriers, and scouts) and every non-arbiter spell, while gorush uses literally every possible unit and spell.
Haha, when I first read Rage's defense, the first thing I thought of was sc2gg vs tl net where Rage got offensive gg'ed, then responded by making a proxy fac and actually won the game. I think that deserves a pp
It was a ZvT a few months ago where the zerg controlled 2-3 groups of mutas at once, similar to what Jaedong did vs. Upmagic. He basically made 2 groups of stacked mutas attack as if is was just 1 group. It was kinda a 1 sided game, but really epic control.
It wasn't any big name zerg like Jaedong, July, Luxury, and im not sure which map is was. I thought it might have been ROTK, Byzantium, or Othello but i couldn't find the game on TLPD.
EDIT: found it
ZerO vs. Leta on Othello
He controls 2-3 groups of mutas as if they were 1.

Well okay I'll stop joking with flash's failure and contribute
Flash vs Fantasy, fantasy plants a mine in front of Flash's tank and flash forces his vulture on top of the mine, bugging the mine out until he had enough time to get fantasy's mine out of the way
Much vs Luxury, proleague game, much and his AMAZING DEFENSE. Best Probe Line I have ever seen.
Unpimpest Play Free vs Flash, 1 Pylon and 7 stargates. Flash vs free 7:1 lol.
