I got some news that maybe are interesting for you guys, especially for all the Chinese users here.
According to ICCup fnatic just added a StarCraft Squad that contains mainly out of Chinese players such as F91, Lx and Co.
You can find the full lineup here and also further information.
Seems pretty interesting since fnatic has also already one of the best WarCraft 3 and Counter-Strike teams... Let's see what they can do. Your thoughts about this?
|
omg go fnatic :D
i used to love their UT squad.
|
Strong team; good manager. I'm just curious as to whether or not they'll add a few top foreigners to really make them stand out of the crowd.
Otherwise I don't see how this is any different from Pure) or Long.
|
Pretty sweet indeed. Maybe the Starcraft scene will get more attension now since fnatic is a pretty big organisation. They have one of the best Counter-Strike teams ever to exist and they have good Warcraft 3 players also. Good for the Chinese players too but they should really take PJ as well imo.

Always good to hear some movement in the foreign scene.
It's weird they would add a sc squad at this time, but maybe they just want to get a head start preparing to make the jump for sc2.
|
Sc 2 is coming up^^
Finally a non korean team that is able to give MYM a match.
|
bah til they are in the first divs sc2 they will die again T_T
|
tthats a really really good chinese team.

Fnatic have invited him, but Lx have not decided to join or not.
But I'm pretty sure that he will =)

And about jaystar, he is a protoss, not a zerg!

Finally a non korean team that is able to give MYM a match. HAHAHA! There have been tons of teams that have been able to give MYM a good match. Excello earlier this year, ToT and a few others. If MYM would stop buying every valuable player out there then maybe they could have some competition. Looking back to pre-MYM starcraft there used to be so many good teams around, BOSS, ToT, uT, [Media], MgZ and so forth.

If MYM would act like that (as in stop buying everyone who can give them a match), they wouldn't be holding up to their name.
More of Your Money, after all...
|
This is good news, congrats to those guys
|
ZzZzZ come on guys, come up with something else than always this stupid 'argumentation'. Its much more complex than u might think. I do respect both of you until you really believe that its just the money...
|
Well, fnatic doesn't have anything on their web page yet.
But, if they were to buy the chinese team, they surly would not sell any of the players to MYM.
|
edit: Making my post more positive!
Good to see a new team, I wonder what the team's reasoning behind the decision is though. Maybe they just want to be a dominant e-sports team regardless of ability to produce income or w/e which is nice to see.

good to see Super still around =]
|
if this team actually competes at high levels in the foreign scene that would be great, top chinese players haven't done anything in the foreign scene since Bartar recruited a nearly exclusively chinese lineup before xLo died
|
its a publicity stunt

I guess you haven't been paying attention to the PurE) team.
They're tearing shit up.

holy shit, that's a force of a team!

Another Lag team :D
I dont think that they are going to compete in foreigner tourneys / leagues o,o
|
As people say, just chinese players.......
looks like it's the third "Loong,Pure" .. Alot of lag and little chance to show up on cws/leagues.
So fnatic must recruit some foreigners just to keep it up.

I don't remember too well. uT disbanded but I don't think any of their players went to mYm? Media was created AFTER mYm had entered the scene I think? MgZ might have had someone go to mYm or ToT.
I don't see how mym killed any of those teams o.o

it's not mym's fault, they are the only team able to pay salaries, it's really just unfortunate there aren't more teams able to pay proper salaries and compete for having the best players with them.
It's a shame excello died tho, they were so strong with JF/Nony/Yoon + whoever else in their lineup, and def. able to compete with mym at that time..
|
why do you people think pure) is able to do so well if they're such a laggers? c'mon.. not every chinese lags
if you were to spend some time and look at their matchlist in iccup you'd realise they've played plenty of progamers.
and mind you guys MYM did not kill any teams.. we should be glad that people are still interested in bw scene and don't mind paying the players. This is actually helping the game as it would increase the interest of non bw player to actually bother to look at the news of SC in the multigaming team website as well.
|
ash, because its the perfect excuse to blaim it on chinese ''lag'' since everyone is afraid to death to play them in cws. As about mym,ofc they didn't kill any team, you should be referring to tot who the last months have recruited the half community.MyM adds a dose of professionalism which isn't bad at all.
|
i bet if a cw accured, fnatic would pay their players to go to a gaming centar to play on the finest connections they could afford.
they do so with the cs team because they mean business.
|
agreed coulthard, though they'll give you a different story (i.e. inactivity, which is also the case)
Think of it as getting a promotion.
To me its silly. I am all for good competition.
|
The point of the team is for the Chinese professional leagues, not for foreigner based competition.

that's because news of Chinese leagues and stuff doesn't really get out to the non korean scene.
PS.
Sen is on their ICCUP roster.

Not so sure how active it is nowadays but they have CEG, PGL, and PLU. They also have the G-League but I'm pretty sure I have the name wrong. emucxgg would be a better person to ask since he is involved in the Chinese community.
And Sen is joining the Fnatic team. Unless somethings changed in the past week o_O
