Savior was able to overcome Midas' mechanic strategy by creating diversions mainly using the path from behind. After the win, Savior gave his opinion. "There is a reason why mechanic is not used by many terrans." And also said, "GGplay only lost to the mechanic strategy because it hasn't been used at all, there's nothing special about that build."
마재윤은 최근 기세가 좋다는 평가에 대해서는 크게 신경쓰지 않는다고 밝혔다. 마재윤은 "내 스스로가 느끼지 못한다면 의미가 없다"며 "고작 3승일 뿐이고, 이 정도에 만족하려고 그동안 고생하며 연습한 게 아니다"라고 말했다.
Savior, even though many think he's in a very good shape, does not mind at all. "If I don't feel it, then that's for nothing." Further more he stated, "It's mere 3 wins, and I didn't practice like hell just to be content with 3 wins."
Video Translation -How do you feel about the win? -It was a tough fight. However, because this allows us to be one of the top ranked teams in a proleague, I am satisfied.
-Did you prepare for the Mechanic Strategy? -It's either bio or mechanic. The map favors the zerg, so I even prepared not only against mechanic but against diverse All-In strategies as well.
-Your thoughts regarding the new Mechanic strategy? -Well... I don't really believe it's anything new or special... That build has been used before... and... tens and hundreds of Terran progamers knew about it... if that build was so powerful, why didn't anyone use it before? The build is not good and that's why they didn't use it. As you can see today, two of our zergs won against two of SKT1 terrans, who are known to have the best Mechanic Terrans, by beating that very mechanic strategy. So I'm not really concerned at all.
-What is your answer to new mechanic strategy? -Like I said before, the build existed long before and GGplay only lost because it's been so long ago and forgot the right counters. So really... it's an easy build and an easy build to counter. Terrans from our team have better mechanic concept than the ones from SKT1. I think this is the reason why I had easier time against Midas today.
-When did you feel the game was yours? -When I killed 2 valkyries, I knew the victory was slowly leaning toward myside. But I was confident from the start to finish to be honest.
-Some fans were secretly hoping for Savior vs Bisu, your thoughts? -I didn't think about that possibility before... But I would've been confident regardless who came out, even against Bisu. I don't believe that even Bisu would have the confident to beat me in Raid Assault(Zerg map), so....
-Is this the return of Ma BonJa? -I didn't think of it even once. If I don't feel it, then it's irrelevant. Ma Bonja... such powerful term... But I didn't practice like hell just for three wins. Three wins are mere three wins.

I tried to do a direct translation without altering any "feelings". But it might've came out little bit more aggressive than it is. However, he definitely does sound, what's the right word... "Over Confident" in some parts.

Sorry, that part was not directed toward Midas but the mech build in general.
I always knew savior was arrogant in interviews, but I always thought it was a realistic kind of arrogance "yeah, im better, so the osl is mine" sort of thing. This can be considered bm/trash talk. Which I like!

Just saying how this mech build isnt all-that, which i disagree, since fantasy lost that mech game. He could've defended that all-ling better, its like saying how an all-in hydra vs. FE toss is the perfect counter etc. etc.

i rly think savior didnt even think he was in a slump. he was prolly just having some time off and trying to enjoy his money. when he got demoted to team B, his salary dropped so he stepped up his game. then his gf dumps him so now hes out to destroy all the progamers his gf liked cuz before she would be like "no dont beat fbh or bisu or you wont get any tonight."
As bad as he's trashing SKT1 mech, it kinda by association trashes GGPlay for losing to it. Yeah he qualified it by saying the build is so old GGPlay forgot about yadda yadda yadda, but still it's gotta make GGPlay do a little facepalm.

No one jumped on it to be the end all be all build. We enjoyed the build that gave us the ability to be able to go into the mech build more safely and efficently. Mech builds are not new, any terran knows that, but Fantasy proved the effectiveness of vultures and valkyries before just going straight tank/gol. Up till that point it was a standard MnM -> into mech build, wasting resources on the academy.

Yeah savior always had a lot of confidence probably why he dominated for so long in his prime and probably why he fell so hard too. I remember when he actually put all sparky members in his group for msl that was art.
SK Mechanic, uhh, it doesn't sound right. SK means SKT1 right? Cuz if it were Soul Key then it'd be ironic since Soul Key Terran is pure Marine and Medic.
