 I think some of the ingame sequences are not too special but some are really good. What I liked most is the perfect syncronisation of video and audio. The Bassbooms for example fit perfectly to the zooms etc,... And a cool choice for the music. I dont know what it is and I usually dont listen to that kind of music but in this video i liked it  | ||

The first thing I noticed when the highlights started is you misspelled arcology. In fact, what the hell at this entire clip - an scv chasing a probe around the base then the probe drilling in trying to harass and getting trapped then killed by a marine. Horror made a total of 2 clicks here, right clicking that first SCV on the probe then right clicking a marine on it. It got trapped inside a few mining scvs and died because of it, that's not a highlight. Now a clip with 3 tanks killing 2 zeals while one that took a reaver shot doesn't die. What the hell? This isn't impressive. Then the next one starts with horror losing 4 marines sloppily to 4 dragoons as the P player stumbles into mines. Am I watching a highlight video or random clips from random games video? Thankfully it gets better from there. The editting seems ok in general but that blur effect just makes me feel as if I'm looking through the camera like it's smeared with vaseline, and the unit noises that are much louder than everything else and are somewhat random are really distracting and just feel awkward. You either leave all the sound in, or you keep it mute. It's just strange. Overall there were a lot of nice clips and the editting was nice since you didn't overdo it like a lot of people who make these do, but the start made me think "this is going to be bad". Although it was a nice surprise that it picked up as much as it did! I wasn't much a fan of the music but I don't think I've ever been a fan of the music in any SC highlight video anyone has ever made. edit: also, as the guy above me pointed out, the music syncing with the video was very very nice | ||

I agree, some of the highlights were dubious, but that is not my biggest grief with this movie. IIRC, I spoke with yuo about another movie you made, but that was on Iccup, via PM. The point is, you are abusing effects that are in turn ruining the highlight you are trying to show. E.g. the first clip of Horror microing vs lurkers on Tau, you are using some motion blur filter that ruined the micro as you could not clearly see what is going on. At times you inserted a flash (white frame) this is just annoying and takes your focus away from the action. Please, understand correctly -- I am not against using effects, I am against abusing them. I.e. use them at the right time, like as a transition for instance, not during the actual highlight. Also, the CG clip in the beginning was completely unneeded. I hope you use your skills properly in future clips, as you seem to know your way around video editing. | ||

#Tropics: THANK YOU VERY MUTCH FOR YOUR LONG CRITICISM! I put 2 intros in it. At first its just halo cinimatics to create a cool atmosphare. The second one starts with the scv vs probe thing. I agree with you. The sequence is not the pimpest plays one, but its a slow scene for the beginning. He saved his scv with 5hp with a slide just a second befor he normaly lose the scv. The second sequence with the 3 tanks is good in my opinion. He moves the 3 tanks at the same second to splitt them and they shoot at the same time to the rvr. I tryed just something new with the unit sounds. Some moviemakers use no unitsounds and some are using the ingame sound. I just used one sound of a special unit. #Sp1ralArch1tect: Thank you I think Horror is one of the best terrans at the moment. He is place 16 at ggnet rangking and i think there are only 4 terrans under the top 20. Next time i ll ask nada or boxer, but i think i will never get an answere of them  (#rkarhu: Its just about the atmosphare and showing something new and not all these old starcraft or starcraft 2 cinematics. #meathook: Sorry i can´t remember you  I think you have to download the highQuality version. The LowQuality Youtube version is not that good, the motion blur effect is realy hard there. I don´t think i overdid it with the effects in this movie, i hold my self back | ||
