as you said its offtopic, but i haven't spoken about it much before so might as well now. Starhunter is participating, i'm not, i was trying to get 2nd spot (since it wasn't being used) without playing since i'm already in korea and didn't want to fly back, but could have if they said no. so i sent off emails, and they responded after the final event saying no. which sort of stuffed me up, we appealed to the person in korea thats in charge of Aus, then to her boss, but they keep saying "sorry it would have been so nice if we could have heard about this early" even though it was 40 days or something when i first emailed. So a big fu to wcg. (i lost a lot of interest in sc since i couldnt participate

)

anyway his a small part of the final appeal/email that was sent to them when they asked for detailed timeline and correspondance, to "discuss my situation" (which i think was mainly just to stop ppl talking to them about by making it look like they tried to help.)

*Please note a lot of emails have been lost due to not being saved or no response(i can only work out the ones where a response was provided) thus not all the correspondance originating from me can be shown.

** I kept all correspondance between myself and the Australian Team (Ausgamers) i do not know what Ausgamers sent on to ICM other then some emails they referred back to me. Until mid september when i received the response from ICM.

*** Full emails are attached below (underneath the Timeline)for reference.

**** My first email inquiring about being granted a spot with the Australian Team, was at least 40 days before the Final event, which is plenty of time for what now has turned out to be a relatively easy matter for ICM to settle. Which makes ICM's answer of : ("It would be so nice if I can get this information earlier however, it's too late to discuss about it.") not very satisfying.

TIMELINE:
>> 22nd July 2003, email sent to: Ausgamers Australia WCG commitee request if unused spot could be automatically granted since i am already in korea sponsored for StarCraft.
>> 22nd July 2003, received from Steve Trickey<steve@ausgamers.com>: autobirth should be ok will ask ICM
>> From 1st of August -> 22nd of August: A number of emails asking Steve if there is any response from ICM, with Steve responding "still no response" or something to that effect.
>> 4th August 2003, received from Steve: information on possible publicity exposure.
>> 21st August 2003, received from Steve: still no response from ICM, should be no problem granting you the spot.
>> 22nd August 2003, email to Steve: Just confirming his email, and thanking steve for his help
>> 22nd August 2003, received from Steve: Saying he probably wont be going with the Aus team to korean finals.
