CJ 엔투스 마재윤이 1군으로 돌아온다.

CJ Entus sAviOr is coming back to the A team.

지난 6월 25일 ‘경기력 저하와 정신력 해이’를 이유로 2군행을 통보 받고, 7월 3일부터 본격적인 2군 생활에 돌입했던 마재윤이 2군 강등 19일만에 1군으로 전격 복귀한다.

On June 25th, Savior was demoted to the B team due to his worsening gameplay and lacking mentality, and officially began playing in the B team on July 3rd. Savior is returning to the A team in just 19 days.

마재윤의 이번 1군 복귀는 성실한 생활 태도와 정신력 보강이 이뤄졌다고 판단해 당초 예상보다 빠른 시간에 이뤄졌다.

The return happened quicker than expected because Savior drastically improved his attitude and mentality.

CJ 조규남 감독은 “당초 개인리그 오프라인 예선전까지 2군에서 생활시키려고 계획했지만 여러 가지를 고려해 조기 복귀가 가능한 시점이 됐다고 판단했다”고 밝혔다.

Says CJ Coach Cho, "We were planning on keeping Savior on the B team until offiline qualification rounds of the individual leagues, but we decided it was the right time to put him back on the A team after considerations of many things."

마재윤은 자신의 2군행 통보 소식을 접하고 상당히 충격을 받았지만 이를 잘 추스르고 성실하게 2군 생활을 수행했다고 한다. 특히, 전체적인 생활에서 후배 선수들에게 귀감이 됐고 자체 랭킹전 성적도 우수한 것으로 알려졌다.

Savior was very shocked when he found out he has been demoted to the B team, but he dealt with it well by practicing hard. He helped out his younger teammates, and held high rankings in the B team tournaments.

조 감독은 “마재윤이 이번 2군행으로 얻은 것이 굉장히 많을 것이라고 생각한다. 앞으로 진행될 개인리그 예선전을 시작으로 경기력이나 정신력에서 향상된 모습을 볼 수 있을 것”이라며 “이번 조치가 앞으로 프로게이머로 활동하는데 많은 도움이 됐을 것이라고 믿는다”고 말했다.

"I believe Savior has gained a lot by being with the B team. He will show a stronger gameplay and mentality in the upcoming individual leagues, and I am hoping this experience will help his career in the long run," said Coach Cho.

마재윤은 21일 오후 팀 내 랭킹전을 마지막으로 약 3주 간에 걸친 2군 생활을 마감하고 19일만에 1군으로 복귀, 스타리그 오프라인 예선전 출전 준비에 매진하게 된다.

After a B team ranking tournament on the 21st of July, Savior has officially returned to the A team after only about 3 weeks (19 days). He will be playing in the offline qualifications for individual leagues.
