The BGH video was actually mildly entertaining, minus the music, minus all the "I'm pro I'm the shit and hot stuff, god damn im gosu" shit that's randomly inserted. The first one with the 8000 guards vs. 1 archon and 1 templar and all those crappy highlights on Luna/Wuthering etc. were just terrible. The BGH one wasn't gosu by any means, but a video doesn't have to have awesome gosu omg micro to be entertaining. Shit needs to die in an entertaining fashion, and in terms of entertaining-ness, the BGH one was way better than the other one. It had some fun scenes, like the rax lift into tank drop (8 or so marines doing severe damage to a guy with starport tech+tank, lol), and the one where one dropship kills a zerg that already had ultra den and a bunch of hatcheries. They may have been kinda stupid but atleast they were somewhat entertaining And Hehawhehaw, noone gives a shit that you're A-. Everyone gives a shit about how bad the highlights were. I do think that non-name players are treated unfairly in terms of highlight videos. Like, if someone posted a Sea highlight video where Sea just rolls everyone with 200/200 armies vs. 80 supply armies, people would be like "Not amazing but Sea gosu AMAZING MACRO" or "Let's see YOU win on the pro stage" or stuff like that that really has no relevance in how good the highlight video is. However, if you make a highlight video where the highlights suck (I didn't mind the BGH one. Didn't like it but atleast it didn't annoy me the same way it seems to have annoyed a lot of others), you're gonna get a lot of shit for it | ||

my friend showed me this video to point out that he thinks sc2 looks really weird zoomed in during battles (pretty much agree btw).
