It's also pretty stupid to not have a working site for a day and a half after you've announced the day the tickets go on sale a month ahead of time.

The bulk of the BlizzCon tickets we had available were sold out within minutes of ticket sales going live again this afternoon. We have a small reserve of tickets left -- to make these available to some of you who might not have had a chance to purchase yet, we will be releasing the remaining reserve tickets for sale tonight, August 12, at 8:00 PM PDT. We appreciate the enthusiasm everyone has shown, and wish we were able to accommodate even more attendees at this year’s BlizzCon.

Fucking shit. I was up since 6AM MT yesterday and wasted 2 days trying to get two tickets and was shafted both times they went up as I was trying. Blizzard pissed me the hell off.

so at 8pm Pacific time the next batch of tickets goes on sale? What are they doing like 2k per incriment?
What is the max amount of tickets they can sell ? I mean the person capacity of Anahiem Conv. Center is how much? 10k?

The anaheim convention center has a capacity of over 50k between all their halls. Blizzard is selling 12k tickets. There aren't increments, aside from a small batch of "reserves" that go on sale in a little more than two hours from now, Blizzcon is supposedly sold out.
Also having the tickets in your cart or though the checkout purchase doesn't reserve them for you, you still need to get to the confirmation/receipt page before all the tickets are sold.
