I just about always root for Protoss, so take that into account:

1) Reach - He did it when no one else was doing it for protoss. I still say the OSL he won by beating Boxer in the finals was some of the highest level playing I've ever seen.
2) Nal_rA - You just never knew what you were going to get
3) Garimto - KIM DONG SOOOOOOOOOOOO

For non-protoss players, I always liked Chojja...just seemed like a class act. I also liked HOT Forever...I just thought he was cool. These days watching Jaedong play is really enjoyable for me...but I can't say I'm rooting for him.

I don't really have favorite teams and there aren't really players that I hate either.

Nada is my favorite player because his games are always exciting, and in every game he plays I know he has a fighting chance. If there was a SC hall-of-fame, Nada would be a first-ballot if he retired today.

Savior was a joy to watch in his prime, and I still haven't given up hope.

The notion of "team" is applied best to CJ Entus. When one player is doing poorly, then other step up to support him. And I really like Coach Cho.

BoxeR was the first player that wowed me. XellOs was the second. Oddly enough XellOs is my favorite player because he was damn good at Terran and he was also handsome. If I were to idolize a player, why idolize an ugly nerd? XellOs's TvZ and TvT were unbelievably sexy. His TvP was also very good but not amazing.

I personally am no big fan of any team, but I do love and hate some players. For example, I could say that XellOs is my favorite player hence CJ is my favorite team. But I hate sAviOr. So I can't love CJ but I can't hate CJ. Na wadda mean? Each team has players I like and players I don't like. I think the team with the LEAST amount of players I hate is MBC Game Hero. I don't really hate anybody on that team.

I will forever hate ShinHwa for robbing BoxeR of advancing further into Shinhan OSL. I hate sAviOr because he (used to be) so good. He almost pushed Zerg to perfection. He played too well. What I enjoyed about SC was the imperfections that people used to win. sAviOr imho ruined how TvZs were played. He introduced his stupid 3 hatch mutalisk and now I never see TvZ Sync status play. It's always FE first.

Naturally when I see a match I root for the Terran player. If there's no Terran I root for the Protoss. If there's neither Terran or Protoss what's the point in watching? Haha.
