Starcraft is a professional sport, and the life-cycle of a progamer is short--just a few years if they are lucky. I know there's a different "culture" of progaming but coaches get fired all the time for poor performance in other sports. Best of luck to SKT and to the departed coaching staff. Maybe the new management will instill some life into the team next season.

Just look at the teams that are doing well, they have home grown talent and have plenty of studs now, while KTF and SKT stuck to their vets for too long. The future for those teams belong to Flash, Shudder, etc. Starcraft is a professional sport, and the life-cycle of a progamer is short--just a few years if they are lucky. I guess it was the time to move on I guess.

I guess without macro, his game is weak compared to the rest.

Hoon is just so BADASS. What the hell, man. And then Kingdom as player-coach I can see, but iloveoov? ILOVEFUCKINGOOV? My god.

IF ANYTHING I'd bring back BoxeR into the team and see how it goes...or at least consult with BoxeR man...this is basically HIS team.... Honestly...Kingdom I can see but ILOVEOOV? OMG...IT'S NOT LIKE HE WASN'T MAKING IT PASS OFFLINE QUALIFIERS... WTFFF He goes to Ro16(Usually I think?) almost every season...Why the fuck? If this happens, SK Telecom 1 will no longer be my favourite team and I'd probably stay less tuned-in to the Korean pro gaming scene. However, theirs always a chance BoxeR can bring new hope to SKT1 when he comes back...but how many new-school people can you recruit and become good within the time frame of SC2's release? I doubt many people would want to train hard via Internet Cafes/Offline then try to get on a team AND try even harder to win Starleagues. There might be a few but I just don't see it.. If I was in their shoes I'd just hold it off until SC2 then make a run at that instead of SC *shrugs* So I'm not sure what SK Telecom 1 is thinking.. Boxer's in the military for a while longer, makes no difference
