Every 2v2 game played in December will get you one entry (up to 30 total) into a drawing where 3 lucky players will each win $25. Prizes
Three $25 prizes will be given to the top 3 ranked players on ShieldBattery 2v2 ladder at the end of the giveaway period.
Three $25 prizes will be given to three different players that have played ShieldBattery 2v2 games during the giveaway period by a random drawing
Giveaway Period
The giveaway period begins on December 1, 2022 at 00:00 CET and ends at December 31, 2022 at 23:59 CET
Registration
Having a ShieldBattery account automatically registers you for the giveaway. No additional registration is required.
Random Drawing
*Players earn entries into the drawing by playing games during the giveaway period.
*Each game played during the giveaway period earns one entry into the drawing.
*Players can earn up to a maximum of 30 entries during the giveaway period.
*Entries cannot be transferred, traded, or sold.
*A snapshot of the ShieldBattery 2v2 ladder will be taken once at the beginning and again at the end of the giveaway period. Entries earned will be determined by these two snapshots.
*Random drawing will take place no later than 1 week after the end of the giveaway period.
*Each player can only win one $25 prize during the giveaway period.
SB 2v2 admins reserve the right to disqualify players from the giveaway if found to be auto-leaving games to get entries.
Collecting Prizes
All prizes will be paid via paypal, with mandatory paypal fees taken out.
Winners of prizes will be contacted via Discord or through the ShieldBattery client and will have 30 days to provide their paypal address to oxtQ (discord #7362).

I heard a rumour that this event will be extended if there is a decent amount of interest and activity expressed in it during the month of December

It s a busy week with CPL preseason, the FIFA world cup, and BSL ladder stage. (and the holidays coming up)
I tried to find games a few times but gave after 5+mins search. But 100% will try again, great initiative

we have 3 ppl searching in 2v2 right now
5 min wait is a minimum for a Melee game so I am used to that... 4 days till the finals of WC anyway
