I guess my prediction of Bisu + Hwasin in the semis fails

In that case I have to say gooooo Bisu (because Terran sucks).

New prediction - Oov, Savior, Bisu, and B1 (either Ra or Stork).

Is it just be or is the lower left side of the bracket looking really easy? Canata and Xellos are both competent but nothing special, and Forgg isn't super impressive. I think whoever wins the B group has a royal (read: easy) road to the semis.

Group 1 winner Oov
Oov > mind
July > Gorush

Oov > July (in a close one)

Group 2 winner Bisu
hwasin < Bisu (unless he is very creative)
light < Kwanro

Bisu > Kwanro

Group 3 winner Stork
Xellos > Canata

Stork > forgg

Stork >Xellos

Group 4 Winner Savior
Free >>> lomo
Savior > Nal_ra

Savior >>> Free

Group 1 v 4 Oov v Savior

Savior > Oov

Group 2 v 3
Stork v Bisu
Stork > Bisu (barely in a classic matchup)

Final Savior v Stork

Savior takes it.

Savior is playing very well. I definitely expect him in the final 4. Kwanro might pull an upset. Oov could easily lose to July.

The only game of Bisu vs Savior that didn't look like bisu raping him (he still won though) I've seen was on peaks of baekadu. But, I think with the current MSL maps the games would be that good. Especially since Katrina is so good for bisu's style.

I think a lot of you are underestimating HwaSin (again). I think he may actually beat Bisu this time around. (He got sooo close last time)

So my Final 4
HwaSin
iloveoov
savior
Stork

Except (T)Hwasin has a good chance at beating (P)Bisu so

(T)Sea vs (Z)sAviOr (great game!)

(T)Hwasin/(P)Bisu vs (P)Stork (either one would be a great game.)

Looks like it could potentially be an awesome MSL.

Other than those guys the other players I think stand the best chance of making the final four would probably be

1. (Z)July
2. (T)iloveoov
3. (T)Light
4. (Z)GoRush

I think Diggity's breakdown is pretty astute..

I think (T)Hwasin has a chance of beating (P)Bisu, but even if he does, (P)Stork > (T)Hwasin instead of (P)Stork > (P)Bisu.

I reeeeeeally want to see (P)Stork v (P)Bisu though at some point, preferably in the final four, although that would entail (P)Stork beating (Z)sAviOr, which is a long shot.

(T)Oov and (Z)sAviOr both seem to be back in form, which is exciting, but the groups we have left are a bit of a wild card. (T)Sea or (Z)July or even (Z)OversKy might pull something out... although I think (Z)July is the only one with a chance against (T)Oov, because (T)Sea tends to crack under Starleague pressure.

Anyways..

it's not a matter of cracking under pressure. Sea doesn't get unnerved, don't you remember the proleague final with absolutely everything on the line? He was sent out for ace and he dominated.

Sea has run into a lair-focused management zerg with stellar muta micro in every league he's competed in, that's what's held him back. He struggles against this style of zerg.

Bisu vs Hwasin is going to be very interesting, I wouldn't be surprised if Bisu handles the pressure better to win, but Hwasin will push him to the limits (and it's by no means an upset should he win. That game's balanced on a knife edge). Savior's dominance still extends to his ZvP, although someone strong at TvZ could take him out should he get to the Ro4, probably not before then however. OOv has showed some excellent TvT of Late, so that mystifies things even more.

I wouldn't be surprised however, if we see a Sea/Savior/Bisu/Stork Ro4, assuming Stork comes first in his group.
