I would throw Monopoly the fuck out for sure. Idk what was the thought process behind picking it instead of Sky Bridge but it was a bad one.. Revolver being P favoured should maybe be replaced, too. Either Polypoid or Vermeer would be fine. I mean I like seeing protoss winning, don't get me wrong.. but this time the map bias may be a little bit too big.
There's still a lot of time to apply the changes.. although i doubt it will happen, unfortunately.

I understand that people are bored of polypoid at this point but is actually the nicest map to play on still. Revolver is actually the worst 4 player map out of them all? although it's hard to judge vermeer. On revolver protoss just sits there on 4 bases and 4 gas and every acces point is narrow into a high ground....like what? Yeah, a protoss had to win ASL, but using this map in BSL where protoss already always wins is a bit overkill. Ascension is also known as a protoss map. Then you look at turbine, any map where protoss gets a 2nd base for free is traditionally good for them, then the 3rd base just outside is a super narrow area where it looks really difficult to engage. Then base 4 and 5 are relatively nearby with high ground also protecting them. Just looking at turbine once you know it's going to be pvz heaven. Metaverse looks like it might play like outsider or optimizer and optimizer. Hard to say anything about balance but if anything dewalt's sair reaver there looked promising. Really couldnt think of a map pool that looks more protoss favored than this one off the top of my head.

Also can someone forbid that a map every again has that nat structure of Revolver. It's beyond ridiculous that zerg doesn't have 15 available all-ins for them on all spawning positions.

I really like revolver. It's a bit p favored in pvz, sure, but it makes for really cool games.
I also just had a look, because I had the impression protoss players tend to do really well in BSL. But it's really just Bonyth. Top 4 in the past 8 BSL tourneys (since they began with group stage format) consists of 32 players (dragon counted as both protoss and zerg) - and it's 15 zergs, 7 terrans, 15 protoss (7x Bonyth). And now we've had a terran champ two seasons in a row. It's all fine!

glad to participate this time around. i will likely be at the bottom of the rank, but i am improving everyday
revolver sucks to play and it sucks to watch. it also wastes everyone's time because so many games go long on it without much chance of comeback
edit: i see people talking about fighting spirit but just like. this isn't about that. i like shit like plasma and anthropocene and weird maps. revolver isn't ass because it's weird. it's just ass

They're included in the map pack. Although the ASL maps don't have the biggest pictures.

still.. I think Sky Bridge would produce MUCH better games, because it looks fairly standard but with some interesting minor quirks to spice things up. Such a shame it was totally dropped.. Monopoly just looks bad :p
