Its not harsh because you arent permanently banned, just make a new account, get 50 wins, play BGHmmr.
The rules are very easy, dont ruin the start of lobby and dont team kill. If you quit at the start of the game because lag or some other reason thats LEGAL. Just have a good reason for it and express that before you leave so the replay reviewer can see it. AFAIK replays dont record latency (ping) so they cant know you quit because of lag, but MANY games starts with yellow users (koreans or whatnot) so its prone to lag and therefore quittable.
Repeated quits for no reason has been a bannable offense.

The reason this was introduced is because too many were not satisfied with their allies and quit just as the countdown started and wasted a lot of time. A quitting window was added where you have ish 10 seconds or so to quit after balancing. Its plenty to decide if your team mates are to your liking. Repeated joins after this to keep ruining the same lobby thinking it will balance differently im sure is bannable but isnt recorded unless you printscreen the multiple joins of doing so. I myself havent noticed any such behaviour so its clearly not a thing. Leaving lobby as countdown starts IS a thing and should be banned at every occasion.

If an ally is showing BM you can always leave a game or mute him. Please don't kill allies even if they are annoying.

He doesnt need to show legitimate reasons why you left because you left inside the bannable rules, ie after countdown has started. Picture proof of that is more than enough.
The admin doesnt seem to be active day in day out so the rule breaks take some time to be enforced.
As for promoting hate speech you need to clarify what hate speech is.
Everyone have their right to say what they want but maybe not on this forum by the guidelines.
Since the BGH bots were down the whole afternoon, I was bored and used this time to create a Discord server for the BGH community. The plan is to have a place for everything BGH. Find games, learn BGH strategy, download replays, and more. Would also be nice to have a channel which shows the status of EU BGH MMR bots, but that will maybe come later.
