Soulkey went to army. Jaedong is going soon. Many Protoss players failed in qualifiers including Omekim and Horang2.

Mini, Stork, SnOw and Rain were seeded into row 16 and outside of Best Protoss are quite horrible. I'm not sure if Pure plays anymore but he was terrible during Sospa- Era. Bisu didnt participate cause Afreeca/Twitch complications. Then we have IamMang-omeking, Horang2, Jaehoon and Lazy? At least Horang2 is incredibly bad nowdays. I was surprised that he actually got so far given how he plays on stream.

Generally speaking, very few people actually retire nowadays. It's mainly people leaving for the military or people skipping tournaments due to health issues. Even Nada made it into ASL a couple of seasons ago. The only big name retiring in recent years that I could think of is Jangbi.

Mong is another player who is about to enter military (last ASL was his last tournament). Shuttle and Hero will probably be back on the scene within the next year when their service is up. Flash will be be around for probably at least another year (streaming daily and participating in special events/team leagues like MPL or KCM), but he said that he almost certainly won't participate in any more individual leagues because his doctor said that it would be too much strain on his wrist. Last should be back in the next ASL unless his wrists are still bad. Jaedong's skill has been declining pretty steadily since KSL 1 (from what I can tell due to his poor wrist condition and maybe also lack of motivation but that is just speculation on my part). He's almost certainly going to enlist in the military within the next year. Hopefully he can recoup and heal his wrists and come back to the scene after his service. Did I hear that leta has recently enrolled in the military? players that have sorta fallen off, not sure if just from lack of success/motivation or they are anticipating enlisting soon: movie, miso, horang2?

His liquipedia should be updated and get a "nuke" icon so everyone can shame on him.

Sad to hear that after all what happened after the match fixing scandal there are still people doing stuff like that...

I also think he's lost his passion, he could regain it after his military service and his wrist could recover from a 2 years break. I still believe 👽
