And who knows--maybe Shine overhyped his bag o' builds to make Flash play more defensively than usual. Any edge will help. With how long Brood War's been out, there's not a whole lot left we haven't seen before. | ||

Flash did everything a better player needs to do to beat Shine. That was a clinic. Went exactly as I said it would and hoped it would. Game 1 that refusal to attack the "2 bases" because he knew that if it really was 2 bases then he'd already won so instead he just needed to rule out losing by finding hidden bases. Also those scvs scouts. Game 2, we saw Shine do this thing where he tries to push the limits of drone production because he "knows" that people don't really push then. Shine did it in the ro8 with his 12 hatch 13 pool openers, he did it vs Bisu in the ro4 game 2, Flash scouted it and called Shine's bluff. Safe two base play from Flash until he could execute Shine. Game 3 again Flash punished Shine's macro orientated openers by forcing lings and sunks. Game went macro, Flash wins macro games. | ||
