Are you tired of knowing the results of games beforehand?
You can watch the games without know the time, comments, and likes/dislikes of the video.
How many times have you seen Flash games and you saw More dislikes that likes and you knew Flash losess?
How many times have you seen the time bar and you know is a Macro game?
Well, forget those days and enjoy the free tool for firefox "Stylish" and use "Anti Spoiler for youtube"
Download Link: https://userstyles.org/styles/142723/youtube-anti-spoiler
How to move forward and backward in the video:
- First step: Click on the video screen to set the controls up, now:
- To control and move forward/backwards in the VOD: Use Arrows keyboard (LEFT and RIGHT). (forward/backwards 5 seconds )
- To control and move forward/backwards in the VOD: Use Arrows keyboard (J and L). (forward/backwards 10 seconds )
In order to move forward several minutes Hold the right key or the L key.
- To adjust the volume: Use arrows keyboard (UP and DOWN).
- Another way to control and move forward/backwards: Its numbers. For example If you press 5, you will be watching the 50% of the video. If you press 3, you will be watching the 30% of the game. I dont recommend to use Numbers tho, i prefer to use LEFT & RIGHT (holding them ) to to avoid spoilers about the time

a bit offtopic, but example is not valid, because flash doesn't lose.

Hey just wanted to say thanks! I had been looking for something like this and it works like a charm. It's so nice to watch VODs when you don't need to worry about spoilers. The time left for game or BO series tells way too much.

Im glad it works, yes i was looking for a solution and didnt find any, so i wrote that little CSS code.
Bye bye spoilers!

I can never stay up to watch overseas games, so this little tool is invaluable. I hate it when my eyes divert to the status bar and I know whether or not there will be a 4th or 5th game.

Good one!
But yeah, this is great. Otherwise it is hard to avoid spoilers.

Maybe, but his throne is in dispute now.

I just added youtube gaming compatibility. If you upgrade/download again the CSS Style you will see the changes.

I have developed a mechanism to prevent spoiling myself with progress bars and that is not watching.

Fantastic, I've bee thinking about this myself over the last few days. I don't usually like watching videos so u never gave it thought, but ASL is just so good.
I don't know if yours handles it, but I'd really appreciate a feature of being able to fast forward 10-30 seconds wit a click. If I watch a video, I can sometimes force myself not to look at the time, which you fix, but if I don't have the time to watch those 10-15 minute breaks, then I must move the mouse to move the time bar a bit further.
|
Hiding the time needs to long and sometimes the time is still visible if you move your mouse near the volume button, there is something that shows you the complete time of the video.

I just edit the post with information on Stylish about how to move forward and backward in the video, just hold the right key or use numbers. It's worth using this method to avoid to see the time bar

You still can see the time bar? What browser are you using?

Great, easy solution. I'll be using this from now on to watch ASL. Thanks a bunch!
