i recommend it too

ruby's macro is soooooo goood

+ Show Spoiler +
I so thought ruby was going to lose so much times but he keeps on coming back in the game with his impressive macro. His micro against ultraling was also really good. There was a point where a huge army from ruby appeared out of nowhere and was attacking 1 o clocks nat i really thought ruby was going to win at that time but plague is imbalanced .

Make sure to watch Violet vs Bisu from PL. It's not on YT yet(obviously, the game only finished like 30 minutes ago), but I'll edit it in once it is. Sick, sick PvP. EDIT: It is on Youtube now!

Seconding this, Violet-Bisu was a sweet game. I also thought the 2set (BeSt-HoeJJa) was quite tense...worth a watch if you like either of the players or PvZ in general.

Recommended: (Z)Jaedong vs (Z)by.great, from the recent Oz v. Khan match, when it comes out. Starts off looking like another rape by Jaedong, but soon becomes much more interesting. One of the best ZvZs I've seen (and I'm a huge fan of ZvZ).

Absolutely beautiful tvz! None of that faggot mech tvz that has been going on lately either.

Ruby's micro was top-notch, just notice how brilliantly he used the medics to wall off ultras and such.. not many terrans bother to do this, although it is very effective.

However, in the end, Ultras and lings are just stronger units.. but he sure made him work for it.

Best tvz in a long time.

A 25 minute zvz with (Z)Jaedong? Definitely gonna be watching this one.

Edit: Game delivers.

Result was pretty obvious from the beginning. Good try by (Z)great to hang on as long as he did, but (Z)Jaedong played the late-game perfectly, reiterating that his deep understanding of the matchup is way way beyond anyone else right now.

Great did an awesome job in the beginning; the expo and turtling were the perfect answer to Jaedong's aggression and as Jae still went for the harass and lost some Mutas while Great was harvesting Gas in two places, it looked like Great was actually ahead. But then he started burning his gas advantage away to SCOURGE OVERLORDS?!

Sure, that set Jae back a bit production-wise, but it gave up whatever advantage Great had managed to scrounge and in the muta fight, he really paid for it. Who knows if he'd been able to pull it off by turtling a bit longer and maybe teching to Tier 3 Defis or Devs... But yeah, strategically great play by Great until he decided to do weird crap.

Jaedong vs jjonga — Game 1 — Game 2 — Game 3

The VOD’s titles “Gangyu vs Mensol” are incorrect obviously.

Yeah, I can see what you mean, but I was never tempted to think that (Z)great was ahead. Despite mining gas longer he had to spend a lot of money on spores and he never caught up to (Z)Jaedong in muta count. Maybe he would have if he hadn't put the money into scourge, but it's hard to say. (Z)Jaedong made very little static defense and that meant he was able to expand more in the late game and build up an overwhelming muta cloud. I could be wrong of course, but that's how I saw it.

hm youre both not mentioning something which was absolutely huge:
Jaedong's +2 Carrapace vs Great's +1 Carrapace made a huuuge difference in the final massive muta battle, leaving him with way more mutas than he would have had otherwise

Baby vs Yarnc today in proleague seemed like an excellent match, I only caught the end of it, but it seemed like another example why bio is so much more exciting than mech

edit: hmmm ok now I rewatched the whole thing, turns out I tuned in right when it started being interested which unfortunately is 15 minutes in, also because I tuned in late I hadnt quite realised how onesided the game was
so only watch if you desperately wanna see some bio tvz or youre a fan of either player
(... damn it, fail post ^^)
