Rofl I watched that live. He was basically way ahead and that lost him the game. Soon after this he makes a couple mistakes, his 3rd gets busted and he GGs out.

Yea everytime I've watched JD the last few weeks he hasn't been playing as well. Seems like the mechanics are solid but he will just make mistakes and honestly some game losing blunders that are uncharacteristic. Before this I'd say he was playing better than larva but not now.

That 16-16 vs shuttle is brutal. Shuttle had the lowest APM of the pros at 250 (lol protoss, nub race) and isn't that great Imo.

i think it is a typical mistake to make to think that shuttle is mediocre its an easy one im guilty of the same misjudgement in the past, but maybe its an opinion that one can have upon looking at his pro career or kespa era..

i strongly urge you to reconsider look at what shuttle is capable of post kespa to be exact last 1.5 year.
things to consider is his amazing ability to take bo3s from FlaSh over the last year .. ever since FlaSh joined afreeca
he found a worthy opponent in Shuttle they even play weekly showmatches bo3 vs each other its almost like a tradition by now.. shuttle hits around 40/60 vs FlaSh that is amazing over so many sponmatches!
the style he displays is something else sometimes manly punishing FlaSh his greedy play or all out heavy harassment play or as many shuttle fans know his end game arbiter play can be mindblowing at times.
it is a joy to watch the games between Shuttle and FlaSh are completely crazy im so happy Shuttle delivered this type of play for us to spectate against the greatest TvP of all time god

now i also would agree shuttle did not have the greatest zvp it would certainly be his weakest matchup... but what he now even keeps surprising us with playing 50~50 vs JAEDONG who performs on Afreeca in ZvP incredibly well and well i would cetainly say i find zvp jaedongs best mu. maybe even the best zvper of all time.

of course a lot comes down to style many people point out that one progamers x style doesnt go well vs progamer y style
agreed up to the point that shuttle is just delivering on Afreeca all round the last years its time to put ancient old images of kespa era to rest and see what is changed right now if you are able the look objectively im sure anyone can see this is a different shuttle we are seeing or maybe the one that he always has been but was not able to show in an underwhelming progaming career imo

Is Jaedong taking a break? I mean, definitely couldn't blame the guy, after all he left SC2 because it wasn't fun so why should he burn himself out playing a shit load of BW like he's back in a team house again?

Sometimes people play much better after they let their brains refresh, JD isn't some spring chicken anymore so when he goes on huge play grinds his brain probably turns into oatmeal and he starts playing badly.

While losing the defiler and a lurker is bad esp bc of an update, that doesnt seem game losing. Had Terran walked up the ramp cause he was force tabbed id call that game losing
