As per our PM's last month, the uploading schedule looks like this:
Tuesday minor leagues: Live2win, Haji Wednesday OSL: Uploader Thursday MSL: Cadical Friday OSL: Cadical Weekend proleague: Manifesto7
Kennigit has recently come forth and basically uploaded everything for the past couple weeks. While I think that is great, I think that it would be better to fit him into one of the nights and continue to even out the workload so people stay in rhythm with no burn out.
Cadical, which night would you prefer, the wednesday or thusday? Kennigit?
Anyways, my intention is to keep this thread as a place to organize uploading, and to cover for one another in case of absence.

During last week I was in phoenix for a conference as I mentioned about a month ago (no internet access) and the week before that I was in baltimore (1 week break) so I PM'ed kennigit to cover for me.
I plan to be uploading as usual, now that I am back on campus
Yes I hope to upload the vods on Wednesdays as previously scheduled. While it is terrific for Kenningit being a such ardently dedicated workhorse, I think it is best to all our interest to share the workload to assure the longevity amd efficiency of the vod uploading.
In the last 6-8 months or so we've been witness to tons of copycat sites with their embedded flash video players. Veoh.com allows you to create your own "channel" or "series" and upload your content, with very little content lost to due compression. There are no caps in regards to file size and one can download the movies directly from the channel.
Those who want to watch VODs without having to download could stream it directly quite quickly (within a 5 hours or so of the torrent) and at the same time maintain active connection for when a torrent was dead 4 months down the road.
Now i realize this is perhaps rehash of what already exists; ilovecats is doing a marvelous job with sc2 and i certainly wouldn't want to step on his toes with this. The reason this interested me is how centralized it is, with the ability to embed it into battle reports, download the vod or stream it all from one location.
My thoughts: Pros - Relatively quick upload - Easy central point for download, stream or embedding.
Cons - No real spoiler protection - ...I haven't found the ability to make folders etc so it could get cluttered.

My internet's been acting tricky lately, being slow to dl someitmes and super fast other times (like 2 days ago). I should be able to contribute though.
However, come April our schedule will be all messed up. Proleague will be like twice as busy, and there's gonna be a LOT of changes in that area. But until then, I'm fine with it.
Ok monday games it is...are there games on mondays now that survivor's done? if not i can just go into "holding pattern" until proleague gets started up and the smack gets laid down
Who is uploading the OSL finals? I will take it unless someone else has a for sure 100% source.
Whomever does it, must be sure to anti-spoiler. This means making five folders, or renaming dummy files (the best way, despite meaning a larger package).

Wow....so theres 20 files ranging in size from 80-350 megs for the PSL from last night....we are going to have to divey this up somehow. My club box id got screwed somehow, and in remaking it its being a bitch with the birthdate....anyone know why its fucked?
hmmm....the text is always in red for the birthday and im pretty sure the numbers are correct. Its giving me "internal server error 503" from the apache server...ill just try it in a few days :p

sweatpants, that's err, the same days as the yarnc and much games right? (groups I and J i think) I was going to UL if the K and L groups came out, but there should be no harm in I adn J being UL'ed right now.

Okay cool. Yea, it's the same day as yarnc and much. I'm referring to the games as does the TL calendar, this is the day I'm talking about. I can upload yarnc and much (C-2) games later tonight as well if you need me to. Would you rather me wait and release group C entirely later tonight?
If this creates any kind of trouble for anyone, please don't hesitate to tell me. You guys have been doing a shit ton of work recently (especially you haji) and I just thought I should lighten your load.
Edit: Oh yea, and I see that everyone is referring to these games like you guys were, a letter for each Bo3. Maybe we should change how the calendar lists them.
I have something to ask you guys when uploading vods. If the vod file initially had a name including the original encoder, such as oskyloveo or compact, could we do our best to keep those names in tact? It's the least we can do for the guys who originally upload these things for our enjoyment.
If the files don't have names, I'd say don't worry about it though.

Ok fellow uploaders. This week is going to be off the hizzouse so in the strides of sweatpants, im going to further our scheduling a little further. I will fill in the ???s as i get more info either when fifo updates the schedule or from news posts etc. I think if we do this week by week then we can collectively figure know in advance where we will need people. Post what you know for sure you will be able to cover. We can try it like this and if it works, maybe move to an easier medium like google calender with a group account so we can all edit our names into slots or something like that

hmmm...i was only able to get the 3rd game of cj vs skt1 this morning because all the others had hit the 100 limit and the clubbox accounts ive checked don't have them. Ill be seeding the msl survivor h games that i fucked up from before -_- and by the time the seed ratio takes over hopefully the cj/skt1 games will be around.
Edit: Gah, I don't know why it's not recognizing files 2 and 3. They're the same size and everything. Well it got the others. My torrent will be up shortly, as well.

It's alright, the d/l didn't work for me until just now anyway, it would've been another hour before I have it. Weird that it's not an avi this time though.
Sorry guys, I just can't seem to be able to get a hold of these VODs. I've been checking gonyzzzang all day. If any of you have them, feel free to put them up. I got 3 of them before their 100 downloads were reached so I can help seed, somewhat.
what torrent program are you guys using? I'm using maketorrent (super simple software) and it cant make folders inside folders for spoiler protection I dont think.
I've had 2 weeks of grad parade practice like 7-8 hours a day and have done nothing else (except sleep from exhaustion). Im done now so will back in action ASAP....fuck it, ill post another schedule here in a second for from now till next Saturday

Hello dear friends! I would just like to ask if I may partake in the uploading of VODs yet again. It's been awhile, but I may be able to fill in a few gaps. Just tell me what I need to do. If you guys can take all of the load than Mani can just delete this post.
Edit: Nearing 10,000 mileage points on clubbox, so I could probably get games real quick, depending on what Clubbox I go to (I right now only have access to salt1874's Clubbox).
Edit2: I only have two more days of school (Tuesday and Thursday) so I can probably get the games early as well.

clubbox doesnt have it, at least on gonyzzzang, I'm assuming salt doesnt have it either if hasuprotoss cant locate it anywhere either.
Ok, I'm about to get the MSL from last night, I also have something downloading after that that I'm not sure what it is, but I'll check it as soon as the first one is done downloading. I'll PM Live2Win about the OGN-Estro because he has access to boxes that we don't.
Oh yeah, Salt only uploads SKT and ACE proleague games (he is a big Boxer/SKT fan) and the major leagues (OSL/MSL) and possibly the Superfights (I would have to think so but I could be wrong). That's just for future reference if we can't find an SKT or ACE proleague match.
With the new copyright law preventing us from reuploading oskyloveo's VODs are we SOL seeing as the clubbox/main page sources were the oskyloveo versions in the first place?
Considering the decent quality of the small vods its not exactly a dire issue, id just like a little more info on how we proceed from here (if at all).
with the death/repose of sc2.org, and the recent "confusion" between FW and R1CH, maybe it's an idea to re-bump this thread?
it looks like R1CH may start covering everything on GoM player? not sure what that includes but he has specified he can't do OSL games. (i'm going to ask both R1CH and FW to visit this thread maybe)

I have a mostly automatic way of fetching the high quality VODs from GOM TV and creating a .torrent from them, but the actual process still requires manual intervention and I can't guarantee I will be around every day to manage it. GOM TV only covers ProLeague and MSL, so that's all I would be able to contribute. Also, there have been a number of people who had difficulty playing the OGM format, as well as other disadvantages such as larger file sizes and being incompatible with Stage6, so I don't know if it's best to continue or not - I kind of just did this as a fun little experiment.
