I cant host on BattleNet..people get high latency message. I tried port forwarding 6112, and used PFPortChecker by Portforward.com to verify that Port 6112 was open. However, when I open Starcraft, the Checker now says the port is CLOSED, and I cant host.
I have also tried disabling firewall, which did not help. Can you help me?

Thanks...however I tried /netinfo and got 1247 instead of 6112 for Client UDP. I downloaded the 6112 registry but to no avail :o

try disable firewall on your computer and some routers like mine there was also a firewall option from router site I had to disable.

I had the same problem, ports open, firewall by-passed for bw and iccup launcher; It might be the anti-virus program. Do you use Avast? if so try going into avast and giving an exception to bw, sc and iccup (should work with only bw and sc)

Some routers require a reboot before the settings apply.
If only this problem didn't exist... It keeps causing headaches.

mmm well i cannot think of anything else then. For me it was always ports, firewall, anti-virus. Once i cleared does i never had any problem hosting again (since late 2013 i believe) . Alternativly, you could ask, if he still does it, to xboi, to help you with remote desktop or something like that. I know he successfully did it for many other people, dunno if he still does

Have you tried the UPnP plugin on MCA launcher to host games? That works for some people. used to work for me but not anymore after new versions. :-P
|
I still offer that service but I'm rarely available for that now. To the OP, have you tried the 6113.reg file? Have you also tried disabling port forwarding and enabling port triggering? As others said, you need to create an exception in your AV.

OMW OMW GGzerG Your the man! With MCA launcher I can host games now and people can come! I am so so grateful...oh wow.....thanks yall!!!!!!!

That means you screwed up somewhere on your port forwarding/port triggering rules

Ok, ever since I downloaded new versions of MCA launcher...sometimes I host and people can come, and sometimes I cannot. Can you guys help? I tried using original MCA launcher I had but results were the same. I do always get 6112 when I type /netinfo though.
Also, I cant access battle net servers (Asia), I get message that they cant identify my version even though I was able to enter it before.

Uncheck 'GUIfixes' in the launcher in order to connect to the official Battle.net servers As far as I know the launcher shouldn't affect your ability to host unless you are using the built in port-forwarding. Maybe you could try unchecking that as well? Or just messing around with it. I just read the rest of your issues. I have no idea really about the port forwarding.

GUI fixes are unchecked but still cant get to official servers...and man I miss hosting
