I don't, but if I were to guess he probably wasn't, and its ok since a lot of the good fans kinda dropped off after the last OSL never to come back, until now.

Then he's not the "Only one" who is getting that feeling, like you said he is. Just saying.

It will be even better. The scnTV guys said that they'll have more BW live tournaments. I can't say anything more but stay tune

Is this the real life... or is this just fantasy?

yea they (owner scntv and sonic)are looking into possibilities of sponsoring a whole team and scntv have some sort of foreigners project where both kor/Chinese players can participate in leagues tourneys in kor/china and yeh waiting for the next bw tourney of scntv!

That was funny. OK? Consider bringing back that feature at some point; it is interesting. They do this in SC2, actually, but the ratings come from reporters or somesuch. Probably they'll do the same. I imagine the English cast will be aimed at getting SC2 people into BW (as well it should be), especially early on. "This is a defiler, the BW version of a Viper. It can do these spells", etc. Tasteless/Artosis are the most likely casters (though uTasteless/Idra would be amazing). It's weird hearing complaints that Artosis "sucks the life out of" Tasteless, though. In SC2, it tends to be the other way around, hence the "Tasteless lost his passion" meme Greg and Nick would be incredible, Greg's been talking about how it's hard to get gigs because the SC2 caster market is so saturated, he might very well be interested. As for lost passions and drained life, I think it is a fair assumption by now that SC2 never really lit a fire in Nick the way BW did, and I understand him completely. I've criticized his casting in SC2 more than once, but he was really good in BW. Maybe this could even get him to go back and play some BW instead of Battletoads. It still makes me giggle hysterically that despite everything that has been done, every attempt to put BW in the grave once and for all, it is still crushing SC2 in Korea in terms of popularity. That is my favorite fact in all of Esports. Ohh shit IdrA... If this becomes regular he would be perfect... He'd probably play BW to refresh on game knowledge = Perfect BW analytical caster.

We need Boxer vs. Yellow one more time

Not realistic unless they keep flying players around, and I believe money could be spent better than in plane tickets and hotel :/ I could be wrong and they may have found a sponsor who's super loaded.

real life because it's not just fantasy who is coming back!

Ironic that GomTV is doing this before OGN, but I'm sure the latter is more than happy flourishing from LoL at the moment while the former has to rely on smaller scenes like SC2 and DotA2.

Old BW: OSL MSL Proleague Current BW: SSL Gom Classic Sonic Proleague The revival is here. We're in a new (Bronze?) age of BW, and the dark times are over. Even if we don't get back to 120,000 people in a crowd, we have two individual tournaments, a proleague, and the momentum for further growth. What we have now is great, but the one concern I still have left is new talent. The current crop of guys will likely be around for a few years, but at some point I suspect they will develop other interests and/or leave the scene. If we want to be watching BW ten years from now there will need to be enough interest, both from a gaming level and a sustainability level, to allow new amateur talent to rise.
If it gets big, talent will follow. I think the "BW to SC2 now back to BW" trend is going to dry up soon (though why Stork is still in SC2, god only knows), and there'll probably be a bit of a dicey period where there's no one coming back from SC2 anymore and there's no one new coming up, but it'll pass if we can survive it.
Edit: Unless KeSPA kills the GOM Classic again. Don't put it past them.

They're basically on top of the world in terms of competitive LoL; I'm sure they're laughing all the way to the bank about how well dropping RTSes has turned out for them.

There's no reason they can't do LoL and SC2 and BW tournaments. It's a whole channel with 24 hours to kill. Why does it need to take sides?
