Great news.  Keep producing Starcraft 1 content, GOMTV/partners. I will personally watch every GOMTV Starcraft 1 game. And I am sure overall viewership will be very high, and there will be strong demand for subsequent GOMTV seasons, especially once momentum starts to build after the first couple new seasons. Afterall, GOMTV seasons 1-3, seemed to be quite popular with viewers. But I don't watch any SC2. SC1 is the best game, and the most entertaining for viewers. Also, please hire Tasteless and Superdanielman as casters (or just tasteless, would also be good - a mediocre co-caster would just detract from the entertainment value). They were the most entertaining professional SC1 English commentary duo. Don't hire Artosis to cast though; he is a boring caster, I do not enjoy listening to him, and he sucks the life out of Tasteless when they cast together. Tasteless+SDM = optimal casting duo. Or just Tasteless. Thanks. Also, I like the feature, where the players rate their opponents "attack", "defense", "mindcontrol", etc. For example, in the series when Bisu rated Jaedong's "defence", as 5/10, and then Bisu subsequently got owned because of terrible defense. That was funny. OK? Consider bringing back that feature at some point; it is interesting. | ||

I think when the players rate their opponent's ability, it is much more interesting, and adds an additional psychological component between the players. I don't know if what reporters, etc. think, is necessarily as interesting. Whatever the purpose of the English cast will be - whether educational, or otherwise - I'm sure Tasteless and Superdanielman would do a great job, and they were the most entertaining casters besides. I haven't seen any of Tastless' recent casts, but his casts for the GOMTV BW seasons were very entertaining, and I would expect more of the same if he were to cast BW again. Artosis on the other hand, never really added anything entertaining to the casts that I saw. (Although if he had lost his passion, no one can blame him. For someone coming from BW, SC2 is so boring, it would suck the life out of most people who had to associate with it. Come back to entertaining BW Tasteless ; )) | ||

im sure he will notice this sooner or later but i mean he casted previous gomtv classic tourney the crowd absolutely loved it and i think most viewers would love to see him cast this one and maybe season5 etc | ||

I am extremely excited for it and if they charge ill defiantly pay, At the same time, i find it comical that blizzard and gom successfully ended the pro broodwar scene, and now are reviving it. Its genius, they will be heros in all the history books! :D Its cool names like yellow are playing but hopefully they get mostly active players ^^ | ||
