Personally I think that sucks because the KSL format is much better, competitively speaking.

Yeah, I'm with this guy. Unless Bisu actually did D-matrix the enemy Protoss' Science Vessel because the game included a Dark Archon mind-controlling an SCV and building a huge Terran army against Bisu. And now that you've opened this particular door, baseline reality will be a disappointment.

I guess Afreeca has found a way to keep their talent in their backyard, monetarily speaking. Personally I think that sucks because the KSL format is much better, competitively speaking. Argh that sucks, well, assuming Bisu gets back to anywhere near his best level the KSL will feel less legitimate, which is a pity. Do they not broadcast it on Afreeca or what?

He screamed, than got both his Vessels statised and almost ran out of scans, while the Arbiter was happily floating above Bisu's terran army for minutes. Bisu still won though ![]()

Do they not broadcast it on Afreeca or what? well its hosted on twitch for starters. im pretty sure the afreeca streamers have to play off stream for the tournament but for partner bjs like bisu/flash etc, their partnership agreement just forbids them from appearing on twitch in the first place

Bisu can't hide behind "he's still getting in shape" -- he's played TONS of matches and been practicing for months. His PvT still struggles as it always did, and even in PvZ which is his bread and butter, he is doing 'OK' at best ... 24-23 vs Action 19-24 vs Zero 18-12 vs Larva 34-38 vs Soma Truth is, this won't ever be the Bisu we remember from 10 years past. A lot of the other pros have gotten significantly better and especially the modern ZvP has insanely strong players now. Zergs are very good vs P. Anyways, it would be great to see him in a major tournament out of respect and pride for who he is, but I don't think he's going to be any real threat. I still enjoy watching him obviously, but I've come to accept that he isn't who he was (and that's ok, people have gotten a lot better, and it's the beauty of BW evolution).
