Over the past year, we had two seasons of televised Brood War on OGN, Sbenu Starleagues S1 and S2 (more commonly known here in TL as SSL10 and SSL11) and an offline starleague, Hungryapp Starz League (known here as Kongdoo Starleague, I think) organized by YellOw's company, Kongdoo. Right now, we are in the Ro32 stage of its second season, rebranded as the Vant 36.5 National Starleague.
Has the following completely died off, or transitioned to SC2?
No, far from it. Viewer turnout was very nice during the Sbenu Starleagues. Top and recognizable names in BW progaming often draw viewers in the thousands on their Afreeca streams. Even lesser known pros get hundreds. Vant NSL isn't getting that many viewers yet, but it is new and it's only in the Ro32.
Have most people gone to watching LOL? etc?
There is no doubt it's the biggest esport in Korea right now but in connection to the previous sentence, it's hard to tell 'most'.
Quick question: I've got a legit starcraft 1 key and am looking to play online, but don't have any CDs or ISOs and the game is not installed. Whats the easiest way for me to get on battle.net (NOT ICCUP, NOT FISH)? Any small clients I can download that, when paired with my key, will get me on b.net?
OMG that Effort vs. Last KDS Starleague Season 2, Quarterfinals G1 game was awesome. I would be shitting my pants - terran has half the map and 3/3 ups but he kept his cool.

Real time. A minute was actually a minute. Though there was never a blizzard timer anywhere I think. Timer plug-ins and bwchart probably used real seconds anyway and didn't fetch the time from the replays/games? Not exactly sure.

At fastest which is standard competitive game time, I believe ticks a little faster then a second.
