If you've watched every one of those English casts, I suspect your understanding of the game is better than you think it is.

Hey guys, just started playing BW again recently and a friend mentioned to me the meta has changed quite a bit since we last played (2009 ish). Just wonder what the state of the game is like atm? Has there been any big gamechangers like the protoss FFE?

hmm,i think the most relevant is tvz mechanic lategame,but it also depends how good u were in 2009 ?,you should be ok using the same builds

I was afraid to answer with this response tbh. Because the maps are fairly similar there hasn't been any huge changes. It also seems that players are better at reading the many builds of their opponent and adjusting their builds appropriately. That being said there is no dominating meta, which may actually make things a lot harder coming in to the game again. As far as TvZ mech, this evolution of this build has been quite a joy to watch. What race do you play?

Used to play P but its mainly been T since I've been back. Mostly asking out of interest rather than staying competitive  I'm only D on iccup
