In other news, I'm back in Korea. snipealot2 is up and running again. Edit: And in maybe even crazier news, donation drive is up to almost 200$. I'm considering extending it slightly to get a ups(approx. 100$ for a decent one that can keep snipe2 running for 40minutes during power outages) as people are predicting brownouts this summer in Seoul. While the stream will still go down during outages, it'll be up again immediately when the power comes on as long as the outage doesn't last too long. | ||

As a lot of mods have gone inactive already and a ton more will probably leave for extended vacations at various times this summer, this is the perfect time for anyone wanting to join the mod team to send me an application. Being a mod is not a job, it is simply helping out whenever you can. If you're a regular watcher of snipe2 and feel you can contribute to keeping the stream going - send me a pm here on TL or on Twitch with your timezone, twitch ID and skype ID. | ||

We've reached the goal of the donation drive  I haven't transferred and calculated it all yet, but it should be around 203$ or so after paypal fees. I'll do the final calculations for much the stream has cost me this summer when my final bill arrives in late september. Until then: Anyone who has donated and wish to have their name on the contributors list on twitch, make sure you PM me here or there with your (paypal-registered) name + nickname you wish to have listed | ||

Laptop still having some issues every now and then + some connection issues have started popping up again. Donations have reached the set $200 treshhold, I assume everything will be fine. I just received the June electric bill totaling at $73 - I've yet do do any calculations but I assume the total for snipe2 and snipe3 to be less than $20, probably around $10. July so far has been hell on earth though so that's probably going to even things out real quick.I've got exams coming up this week + my dissertation to work on, but I'll see if I can find some time to write a new blog post going over statistics so far. We have kind of stagnated though on the viewership numbers. | ||

As some of you guys probably know we managed to facilitate a showmatch between the TLS2 finalists and Movie a few days ago. He did it in order to reach out a bit to the foreign community and asked for no compensation. After talking it over with the tlbw guys I have decided to put a poll up here so the community can vote. The money will be taken out of the next twitch payment(so $10/$20 less for sonic events) and donated through my afreeca account. Edit: I'll make sure Movie is being streamed on snipealot2 when the donation happens | ||

As you guys know I played an event match last weekend, this is the guy who facilitated it. Thank you All in all not super exciting, and it did get lost in other donations pretty quick ^^ This is the first time we've contributed directly to a player with the twitch income though, so it's nice to have a vod of it. | ||

I recommend every mod to save all past broadcasts whenever there is an opportunity. + Show Spoiler + As was figured out, twitch.tv removes broadcasts automatically if they were not marked manually. I think there is no limit for saved broadcasts. | ||
