But yeah I mean, he personified the best of the simple "macro Protoss" into zeal-goon-arb PvT stomp. You think Jangbi was good? You think Stork was good? Strip them of their 4-8 templars + shuttle and they would get completely rolled by most of the decent TvPers. Not Best. His zealot/goon engagements were so.....asdfjkl; | ||

Obviously this style of play wasn't the best versus every Terran, and as time went on this type of play became way too safe, it was the ultimate learning replay and I still have fond memories of it. | ||

4 gate all in on Medusa, 17 kill reaver on Return of the King, in base 2 gate on Plasma... Despite losing game 1, Stork completely fried Best's brain there. | ||

His macro was fkn insane, I definitely remember that. I didn't even know he played Sc2 at all, but yea definitely an under-appreciated player. I think July really broke him mentally in their finals meeting and it stayed with him since. | ||
