What's wrong with badland T_T I agree ice and ashworld are bad, but badland is just.. a jungle tittleset with another type of grass :S and asphalt roads that i particulary like =)

It's hard nowaday to make a map that people won't say hey it's azaela, gaema gowon, LT, nostalgia, CLONES !!

I don't see how a tileset is ugly, and what uglyness has to do with the outflow and balance of games, but this is probably the only trcc map I like. Good One.

well trcc i think the best idea to make "original" maps is to take a conventional base but try to add features to the gameplay from forgotten maps/balances in a more acceptable form. for instance, LT has ridges, making many more builsd possible. but ppl hate the balance of it. every other map doesn't have that. so people bring it back in a more interesting form. i saw a map by bill i think that kind of had a cliff to the nat, but it was accessable by land, i think the main, but still a little far. or gaema had the ramp to the cliff and a nat on it. forgotten features, played on in a modified, more acceptable way.

another feature may be distance. maps these days are all kind of far distance compared to what used to be standard. the exception was requiem. there u have it, "originality" again by bringing back old features + slight modifications.

your map is original from what i can tell because, (after all balancing is done) u basically have a nostalgia on your hands with a gas nat but wider, more traditional path to the nat (instead of 2 bridges + ramp)

Honestly this map doesn't seem that interesting... sorry.

To be fair though, I think it's very hard to make a good + interesting 4 player map to begin with, so...

For a 4-player map, the design is very cool . I can see some uses for those ramps. It reminds me of Nostalgia .

I think the centre might favour Terran, though.

Yes, i've just obs a game tvz and T had middle secure really easy, so i removed 2 of the 3 walls in middle, plus widen the middle a little bit on the sides at some places. Rearranged the mineal & gas of all nat & main bases.

maybe you should make the middle expo's with like 200+ more minerals on the patches so it catches the expanders attention.

lol, how can you compare that to gaema gowon or nostalgia? Nostalgias most typical aspect it the gasless nat, and GG`s is the ledge with the min only expansion. Azalea with ramp might be the best description, even though that's pretty off too. whatever^^

Of course it`s a good map (hey trcc made it^^), but I personally dont like it that much. Don`t know why exactly. maybe i just need to play it to like it more.

it reminds me a bit of Luna but w/o the bridge to the 2nd nat expo . I like this.

PvZ will be the most interesting on this map. Expoes are far apart than alot of other maps and could u make the center a bit more unbuildable?

reminds me of a mini version of gaia genetically altered with nostalgia and azalea.
