I wondered if Tossgirl had a twitter so I typed in, seems like she started this week. If STX is that good in SC2, hopefully she adjusted with them well ^_^.

Hello. This is STX SouL’s Progamer

Last time we interviewed SK Telecom’s, and the Medic Date ended. For me I also was disappointed this ended. I didn’t have many chances to meet the fans, and through this I had a way of communication with the fans, and spent a happy time doing this.
This will be the final Medic Date article in its name. Today I want to tell my story. For some time I transformed into a journalist and told many people’s stories, but looking back there weren’t many chances to tell mine. For commemorating the last Medic Date, Daily e-Sports Lee So Ra-nim will interview me today.
After becoming an interviewer every week, there’s an odd feeling becoming the interviewee. Maybe all the guests I’ve had this kind of feeling as well. Still it’s been a long time since I’ve had a chance to talk about myself, so my heart was fluttering.
But thinking of this as the last one, I don’t know what to say. While doing the Medic Date, it was happy these 4 months meeting the fans like this. Thinking about how to finish this, I couldn’t sleep a wink and went out to the interview spot. I will definitely miss doing these.
The final time for meeting the fans through Medic Date. Today I will tell my stories to the fans.
◆The players you met through Medic Date.
[Lee So Ra = LSR]
[Tossgirl = TG]
LSR – Meeting you in a different spot like this, it feels fresh. How were your 4 months as a journalist?
TG – Honestly, I didn’t think it would be this hard (laugh). I thought an interview was if you just asked questions then you try to write down their answers would be it. But it wasn’t that simple kind of work. You talk a long time with your partner and you learn more about that person, and you try to your best to bring out the depth in stories to make a good interview.
My personality is very introverted, it wasn’t easy but through this chance I think I learned a lot. You can say, it helped me grow one more step?
LSR – If that’s true, your toughest interview must’ve been with Lee Jae Dong (

TG – Thinking about it now, I don’t know how that interview ended (laugh). At first I didn’t know what to do, and it was tough to even look at his face. To make things worse, Jaedong was very shy so you couldn’t have two people more awkward than us (laugh).
LSR – Even for me who was there thinking about it, it makes me cringe from the awkwardness just thinking about it.
TG – Because I was so flustered, while progressing through the interview we had a small break time (laugh). For me I thought since Jaedong had plenty of experience with interviews with females on broadcast, that it would be comfortable. I didn’t expect him to have the same personality as mine. Thinking about it again, he’s among the players I am most sorry to. We had a big age gap, if I lead the interview properly he would’ve followed suit, but I couldn’t do it. If I could do it now I would do great (laugh).
LSR – Still as time went on your interview skills grew well.
TG – To Progamers there is no asset more valuable than experience. I believe it’s the same for journalists. After getting more experience, I could make eye contact and started developing a knack to bring stories out. While interviewing SK Telecom’s Park Yong Woon coach, it was really comfortable. As time goes by, I feel so sorry to the earlier interviews with Jaedong and Lee Young Ho (

LSR – Which player did you have the biggest expectations before interviews?
TG – Being a Terran user myself, I had the biggest anticipation for Flash. I felt like I could talk more because we used Terran, and had many things to ask from the past as well.
But since I’ve known him from when he was really young, and meeting when he became a fine young man it felt awkward. I could not speak comfortably like the past. Also beyond expectations, Flash was very awkward. Finding out afterwards, compared to Jaedong, Flash did not hhave many interviews with women and said he didn’t know what to do.
Looking at the Medic Dates, I’m the most sorry to those two players. If there is a chance in the future, I want to try again tying them as ‘Leessang’. I think I can do well at that time (laugh).
LSR – The most memorable player?

TG – Amongst the players, Park Dae Ho (

Additionally while looking at me and not being awkward, I liked that the most (laugh). Honestly for other players I am their senior by a lot and a girl gamer it is tough for them to even speak to me. But Turn spoke to me easily, and led the conversation well that I felt comfortable. After the interview finished, he was the only one to have small talks with me as well.
LSR – Still the most comfortable one must’ve been with ‘Kim Carrier’ Kim Tae Hyung commentator right?
TG – It was the most disappointing one to write up as well. From the content we could only use 2/3rd of it in the article (laugh). Really it was regrettable not capturing it on video. After that interview I think I learned many things on how to comfortably carry on an interview.
If I could talk a little about it, we saw 5 videos of Kim Carry commentator’s broadcast mistakes (laugh). I was laughing so much that I couldn’t remain calm, the funnier thing is Kim commentator was depressing saying ‘I don’t know why I even said that’ (laugh). I really feel sorry. That should’ve been recorded on video!
LSR – Do you have a player that you wanted a chance to interview?
TG – For me meeting any player is great. But it’s not like I had anyone picked out. Still if there was a sad part, amongst the ‘TaekBangLeeSsang’ I couldn’t interview Kim Taek Yong (

LSR – Within the interview content, if you had a most memorable part what would it be?
TG – The most memorable part for me was what Flash said to me. A player much younger than me maturely understood my position, and told me a lot of things. Especially, ‘Tossgirl-noona must’ve had a hard time’, he said that losing to a progamer versus a progamer, with the only reason losing to a girl the player with the loss would become a big issue and that gamer becoming frustrated, while watching that how much my feelings would be hurt. I think he expressed my thoughts exactly; I was thankful and sorry with mixed emotions.
◆The challenge is not over.
LSR – These past four months meeting Tossgirl through the Medic Date, the fans must’ve loved this time, where will they see you now? I’m curious.
TG – I’m a Progamer. I believe I will meet them in the arena. Recently I’m taking up a new challenge.
LSR – There are talks of Starcraft 2 introduced in the Proleague, are you practicing Starcraft 2 by chance?
TG – You’re right. With the thoughts of following the flow of these times, I’m practicing Starcraft 2 diligently. It’s harder than I thought. For Starcraft it was intuitive, so easier to understand but Starcraft 2 is much harder in a management standpoint. But it is fun to play.
LSR – What is your rank?
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/HEfke.jpg)
TG – That’s a secret (laugh). If Stracraft 2 becomes introduced in Proleague, I think I can get the chance to meet the fans soon. I’m always thinking of meeting the fans in the arena. I’m a Progamer. Momentarily I did the Medic Date but the fact that I’m a Progamer does not change.
Some people may doubt if I’m still playing, I am doing my best. Since I started a new challenge, maybe I can meet the fans soon and that I may have a chance to show them. Please wait for me.
LSR – I think the Nate fans are mostly interested in your looks (laugh).
[NATE = just another Korean website for news and articles]
TG – For me soon approaching 30, I think this kind of attention is a happy event (laugh). There is nothing better than for a girl to get complimented saying they’re pretty, but at the same time can make you feel embarrassed. While looking the mirror recently, I do think I’ve become quite old. I think I’m lacking to be called pretty.
From now on instead of my looks, I want to be a player to be able to talk more about my skills. Probably if I pass 30, those kinds of fans would be gone by then (laugh).
LSR – If you anything you want to say to the fans, please do.
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/8nfsJ.jpg)
TG – Thank you for all the love for Medic Date. At first I contemplated that the fans would look at this in a weird way, but there was more support than I expected, I am truly thankful.
Looking at this support, I made a resolution to show myself as a Progamer in a match. I will do my best to show my matches against other players. Again thank you very much.
LSR – I will anticipate your challenge in Starcraft 2. These 4 months transforming into a journalist, thank you for your hard work.
TG – It’s because so many peopled helped that this was possible. I’m truly thankful. All the fans, see you at the game studio!
