I'm just a D baddie, but I wonder if the triangular shape has a lot to do with that. Terran likes to split the map and deny expansions, but Outlier makes it easy for a Z or P to take 2/3rds of the map. I wonder if Flash will come out on it...that would be something to see. | ||

Natural on the high ground, easily exploitable back doors. Standard terran openings can't account for neither of these factors. Taking a third either involves taking a far away back expansion or taking one right in the open, severely limiting terran 3 base push strategies against protoss because they can effectively deny these bases. Zergs can freely get 3 gas which is critical in ZvT, it means they can afford a more gas heavy composition, such as defiler ultra lurker instead of defiler ultra ling. | ||
