I used to play BW a lot back in early 2000 and 2001, than moved on to other games like WC3 when it was released but yet I know what BW is and how to play that game. Before SC2 came out I really wanted to go back into playing a little BW but the BW community was already mainly composed of elitists. I was really disappointed when I heard of the Kespa full switch to SC2 but it made sense and with the community BW was left with, it would have only been a slow agony to keep BW competition running. After SC2 came out, the BW community basically committed suicide by brainlessly bashing the new SC2 community and anything that could bring more exposure to it's game. Just my 2 cents but I think that's what most new SC2 players felt. It's even more pathetic now when the remainings of the BW community try to taunt SC2 players but still don't get any flame .... I won't start calling on maturity since communities are made of individuals and can't be considered as a whole but there definitely are some issues. | ||
